SafewayShopping List Function on Bargain Believer ~ Video Explaining How it Works

The shopping list function to help you create your shopping lists is done! (I'm sure we'll make some changes at some point, but we're calling it done for now.)
For those of you who haven't tried it and have no idea what I'm talking about, find a green plus sign to click on from the shopping lists (must be on the website) and it will open up the list. Hopefully, it's fairly intuitive and you can figure it out by clicking around. Remember that you can go from store to store and don't have to stick with only one list.
What it can do:
Click from list to list and choose whatever you want. It will keep track of which list items came fromSort your coupons by insert for easy cuttingDelete lines you don't want (or after you get the coupons you need)Save ink by unbolding all the formattingChange quantitiesAdd your own items to the listUse arrow keys to move items up or down to sort themLists will automatically save until you tell "it" to start a new oneMore . . . play around and see what you discover! :)
For those of you who want to watch an eleven minute video explaining it, I made a YouTube video. I can't say I'm 100% pleased with the outcome of the video, but I know I never will be. I'm going with imperfect, knowing that's where I'll end up even if I keep trying. :)
Besides calling raspberries strawberries, plenty of "ummms," and the fact that my husband can't figure out how I could spend eleven minutes talking about something so simple . . . it's done and I think it will be helpful. I talk very fast, so he knows I can cram twenty minutes worth of stuff into eleven, so he's worried for you all. Don't complain that you weren't warned! I hope you find it helpful and love the completed function.

I LOVE this Shopping List Function, and didn't think I needed to watch the video, because I've been using it fine for weeks.. Then I thought I might learn a new tip.. And I'm so glad I watched it! There are SO many cool features I hadn't been using! Thank you SO MUCH for this function AND for posting the video! You and your husband are amazing!!
Glad you discovered new things. We just added the check box functions within the past few days, so if you've been missing that . . . you have a pretty good excuse since it wasn't there! :) I hope everybody will discover it!

Just ran out of ink before I could print my list. :( My husband suggested to copy and paste it into my eamil and email it to myself. When I did it came out nice and pretty with the check boxes functional!! I was so excited! I use gmail, when I sent it to my husbands yahoo account it did not come out so pretty. Thank you so much for making such a great feature! I love your site and use it every week!

Browsers and email accounts make everything so different. My husband tried to cover all the browsers when he programmed it, but didn't cover email or think about copying and pasting. I'm glad it works in gmail, at least.
We have more ideas to make it even better, including categories, but it will take some free time — which is short around here for my husband. I hope it won't be too long, but who knows!?! I use it every week too and love it, so it's still definitely great now! :) I am so thankful my husband did it for us!
