SafewaySafeway ~ 12 Items Free Rebate Form In Store?
I posted about the 12 items free rebate that we got in our SS Inserts last Sunday. I copied the post below. Davis on Facebook said he didn't get the rebate form in his inserts in Tucson. I found this display today on an end cap with the rebate forms! Be on the lookout if you didn't get one.
I took three off the tearpad and would be happy to send them out if you didn't get one. Leave a comment with your e-mail address and I'll e-mail you and get your home address. I'll get it in the mail to you tomorrow. The first three to comment will get them!

In our Smart Source inserts today (9/9) is a great rebate for up to $40 worth of products.

Here are a few tips about these rebates that I learned the hard way.
You have through 9/22/2012 (Saturday) to buy these items.You must mail in your rebate by 10/6/2012.You can only buy these items at a Safeway or one of their affiliate stores. See rebate form.All of these items are priced lower than the "up to" amount on the rebate. You don't need to bother using coupons if you don't want to. The price can and will go up over the next 2 weeks though, so just keep that in mind when you make your purchase.You will only get back what your receipt shows you paid for the item. If you paid more than the "up to" amount, you will only get back the "up to" amount. That's where using a coupon may come in handy. You can search for coupons in the database here.Do a separate transaction with just these items. Last time, I lumped them with my regular shopping. I bought the required Dulce de Leche Cheerios for the rebate, and I also bought Honey Nut Cheerios. My coupon for the Honey Nut came off my Dulce de Leche and I got back 99¢ instead of the $1.99 that I actually paid for them. I even wrote a note explaining it, but it didn't matter. Best to keep it separate.

I didn't get one in the papers either. Went to Safeway today and scoured the aisles and the end caps…. but none were there.
I asked at Customer Service and they said they didn't have any. They kept my phone number in case they were getting any in, but I am not counting on it.
If you happen to get your hands on some more, please keep me in mind too. :) I'll gladly send an SASE.

Thanks Gina that would be very much appreciated. If I hear anything from my Safeway I will let you know, but I am not holding my breath as Customer Service was unaware that such a rebate even existed at this time. :(

Hi – I just got back into town and my paper did not have the insert. I am going to go and check the Safeway by my home and if they have any I will pick up a few extra for anyone that contacts you Gina. I am keeping my fingers crossed!! Thank you for information on this great offer!!
