I have been sort of ignoring the Black Friday thing here. Honestly, I'm just not inspired to track down every deal and post it.
We're in CA, visiting my sister and her family. My sister and I haven't even decided if we're going to get out in the madness tonight or tomorrow. Right now, I'm waiting for my brother-in-law to bring home a paper. I'm kind of old fashioned. I like to see the paper ad. My husband has been looking online for misc. deals and I've seen a couple preview ads, but that's it. I guess we just don't need much either. So, if you're like me and want to feel like you're getting some sort of deal, you can check out our favorite online site . . .
Amazon — That's a link to their Lightening deals page. Need I say more? Be sure to click the blue arrows to scroll through more deals. Beyond those deals, Amazon stays pretty competitive on most of their pricing. Comparative shop with them and then, at least, you have a baseline.
If you are getting out there or already are . . . stay warm and safe! Bring a shopping buddy if you can. Taking turns in line is how you survive at Kohl's, Toys 'R Us, and other busy stores. If you've never gone, here's your fair warning . . . it's crazy out there, but can be kind of fun if you're in the right mindset! Last year, I went to a mall for the first time, at the peak of the sales. I kind of liked that. There's just something about shopping with a bunch of people who should all be tucked in bed and are as insane as you are. Our kids even begged their way into our van last year and are hoping we'll do it again this year. Beyond the turkey and family gathering together, maybe this is what our Thanksgiving memories will be made of. :)
Happy Thanksgiving! Remember to count your blessings . . . or at least begin. I have too many to count! You all are one of them. Thanks for sticking around and using Bargain Believer.
