There are two new coupons today for two of my favorite dessert recipes. What can you make with Eagle Brand Milk that isn't good? :) I THINK Smucker's will only be 99¢, with the coupon above. Last I looked, they were $1.99 at Safeway. I will verify this soon. I don't know where the Eagle is a good deal, but someone will put it on sale for the baking season, so it's a good one to print now. Here's my super simple hot fudge recipe that can be varied so many different ways. You can also get rid of some of that 39¢ Cool Whip you've been getting at Fry's. I know, it's the wrong season for an ice cream dessert, but I really don't have problems with eating ice cream anytime! :) Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert
* Line the bottom of an 8" x 8" or 9" x 13" pan (or any!) with ice cream sandwiches.
You can cut them, if you need to.
* Spread peanut butter over them. (chunky or regular, depending on preference)
* Spread hot fudge over the peanut butter
* Spread Cool Whip next
* Repeat the layers and then sprinkle something pretty on top, if you want to. :)
You can use chocolate sprinkles, cookie crumbs, baby M&M's, etc.
Make sure you give it time to harden again, in the freezer, before serving it.
You can add any type of candy, cookie, nuts, etc. It's really easy and super tasty!
You can also substitute the sandwiches for softened ice cream. You can get Blue Bunny ice cream for $1.49 at Fry's this week!
When the Eagle milk goes on sale, I'll take the time to share the other recipe. It involves chocolate and peanut butter. Do you notice a pattern here? Yep — I love chocolate and peanut butter together! There are a couple other fairly new printables: (Direct links to each one are below.)
