Hi Juli,
I finally tried the ibotta app and I don't have Fry's on my list of stores. I have emailed them but just wondering if you have any advice on the issue.
That's very weird. Have you clicked "redeem" and can you see the list of other stores? I just double checked and Fry's is still there for me. It's not even like you could have put the wrong zip in when you registered or anything (not even sure you needed to?) . . . all the stores show up for me, not just local ones. Sorry, but I have no words of wisdom for you. I've never heard of this happening to anyone! I hope they can help you out!!
The issue is with the iPad 2 that I am using. For the ibotta help center.
"If you are using an iPod 4th generation or iPad 2, you won't see all retailers. Some
retailers use text strings for their receipts and the only way for us to know whether you
have purchased the correct product is for you to scan the item in the store prior to your
purchase. The iPod 4th generation and iPad 2 do not support this feature, but will still
be able to upload receipts from all the retailers listed under the "Shopping List"
section on that device."
This does not answer all the issues since all retailers are not listed on my shopping list.
I only see 8.
List of retailers.

I bet this won't get fixed anytime soon.
So sorry! I had no idea there were issue with different devices. I have a plain old “dumb” smartphone. I hope they get it worked out soon since you’re not the only one who uses an iPad! Sorry!
Oh well. Maybe if enough people complain they will get it working for the iPad 2. They don't mention issues with all iPads, just the 2, of course. Since apple still sells the iPad 2 maybe there is still hope.
Cheers!
