Donate Newspapers to Animal Shelter in Phoenix (Or Others?)

Do you have newspapers you want to put to a good use?
If you're like me and it kills you (okay, only almost, I'm still typing!) :) . . . to get the whole newspaper, just for the coupons, this might be for you!
There's an animal shelter looking for newspaper donations.
This from Halo Animal Rescue's Facebook page:
Free way to help the animals! We're running super low on newspaper here at the shelter, which we use for lining the kennels. If you have some newspaper to donate, please bring it to 2500 S 27th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009. We're open 11am to 5pm every day.
(Thanks, Elaine!)

wow- yes i always feel so bad to buy all those newspapers and only use them for coupons- i have been collecting them in a big box and than taking to " recycling bins" the green ones mostly in front of schools and churches they collect them there and get some donations from the recyling place.. but this is also a good way to recycle them.Thx for sharing will do next time i have a bunch of them ( which is like every week when we have good coupons:)
I just dump them in an our curbside recycling container, and it still seems so wasteful. I sure wish you could just get the coupons — or maybe an "ad package" of some kind. I may read one article every two weeks, if that. I do find an occasional good coupon or ad somewhere, so I always flip through the whole front page and look at the backs of every section. But, that hardly means I "use" the paper. I"m glad there are different options out there that can help others and clear our conscious a little. :)
