Endorse ~ App for Smartphone or Tablet to Get Money Back on Purchases

Have you heard of Endorse?  It’s a Smartphone app that you download to your phone or tablet..  It works similar to Ibotta.  You check out the offers and go shopping.  Take a picture of your receipt and that’s it.  Here are the things I really like about it:

New offers every Thursday (different offers for every member).
You can cash out at 50¢ if you want via paypal. (You can also request a check.)
It’s good at any store, even Costco!
You don’t have to scan UPC’s of product when redeeming offers.
Some offers are very broad, like 50% back on ANY diaper, 10% back on ANY cracker or toothpaste or 30% back on paper towels.

My favorite offer has been 100% back (up to $3) on coffee.  Any coffee.  I can get a cup at Starbucks or buy a bag of Gevalia.  Either way, I’ll get a credit back of up to $3!  I’ve been a member for 6 weeks, and I’ve gotten this coffee offer every other week.  I like to splurge on Starbucks, and it’s even better when it’s free.  I’ve gotten back over $30.00 in 6 weeks.  I think that’s pretty good.

Some offers are for very specific products, but each week, you usually get a few of both.

I have learned that the amount you get back is AFTER coupons.  On a receipt like Safeway where it’s itemized, they can tell what amount you should get back.  On a receipt like Fry’s, where all the coupons are lumped at the bottom, it gets more difficult.  They will take the highest coupon and assume it’s for the product you are getting credit for.  So, be careful at the checkout.  It may be easiest to run through self checkout with that one item, bag it and head to the regular check out lane to ensure you get the amount you are supposed to get back.
