FREE Almay Make Up Remover Pads at Walgreens!

Update: Tony says these are $1.14 at Walmart, so you will have $2.72 overage per two you purchase! I think they are the trial size, so you won't get nearly as many. Check to see what your Walmart's price is. The coupon says it's not good on trial sizes — bottom right. I missed it. (Thanks, Tony & Briceida!)
And . . . read the comments below. This may not be working everywhere. Be sure to hand the manf. coupon over last. I think that's why the register is beeping and then they don't know what to do, so they say they can't take it. But, it is possible that they won't take it for a "make-up" coupon. Or, you might need another item to go toward the overage (can be something small). Sorry for the confusion. It looks like if you want only a sure deal, you should pass on this. :(
This is a freebie at Walgreens, through Saturday, 3/9. See full list for other Walgreens deals.
Almay Makeup Remover Pads (120 ct) Buy One / Get One 50% ($5.99 reg.) (Thanks, Bella!) NEW
$2/1 Walgreens coupon (in booklet on p. 22, at front of store, use w/ coupon below)
Above coupon will take $4 off since you're buying two, no need to give them two coupons.
$5/2 Coupons.com (Direct link, gone if not checked)
Final price: 2 FREE
Note: Hand them the manf. coupon first, so your total will be over $5. If you don't it will be a couple cents short and the register will beep.
You can print two $5/2 coupons (per computer) and get 4 free!
This is a sale price that doesn't involve a Register Rewards, so if they're out, ask for a raincheck. Just make sure you return before either coupon expires, but you have some time.
(Thank you for the details, Bella!)

At Walmart these are $1.14 each! So you would have $2.72 OVERAGE!!
For the same size container? That's a crazy price difference! I just added a note to the list. Thanks so much!
So glad i did not use that coupon at walmart! I love those and just ran out!
Tony says the are $1.14 at Walmart, so you may want to check again. It would mean overage if can find them. Glad that the timing is perfect!
I thought the travel sizes where 1.14 at walmart. the
I haven't checked it out. That sounds closer to what I think you would get for that price. I'll add another note. Thanks!
have you got the make up remover. my walgreens wouldnt let me. they said my coupon cannot be more than what i owe.
Their policy says they will adjust the coupon down, but few cashiers know this. It just hit me, that the problem is probably the order the coupons are scanned. If you make sure to hand them the manf. coupon first, your total will be over $5, but if you don't it will be a couple cents short and beep. It won't scan because it exceeds the cost of the two items. It may not be worth your effort, but you could try that, or a different store. Sorry! I'll put a note on the list.
I went to walgreens and the coupon wont scan and the manager told that the make up remover is not a cosmetic :(
Hmm . . . I don't know about that, but you can't force them to take it. You may want to stop in another one, if you're near one. Bella said it scanned for her and I've heard it has for others.

I was told I couldn’t use the manf. coupons for these :( it’s only for cosmetics
I consider "cosmetic products" to include remover, but I can see where they would think otherwise and I can't really argue. Did they scan the manf. coupon first? I'm just curious if that's really the issue. Sorry for wasting your time. :(

This is the website where i found it
The count isn't mentioned, but it looks like a shorter jar, probably fewer, but a great money maker. Thanks!
im pretty sure that is the trial size. The coupon excludes trial size. hopefully they will let you do it.
Yes, I think it's a trial size, but I have the coupon in front of me and I don't see a trial size exclusion. I could be temporarily blind, which does happen sometimes, but I think you're okay with trial sizes for this one. Good luck!
ill try it anyways. it says it on the right side on the bottom.
Wow, It sure does! I'm not sure if I always miss what's written there or it's a new secret hiding place for details!?!? I guess I better check there for future coupons. I was ignoring everything below the top portion. Thanks for pointing it out!! I just updated the post . . . again. :)
Hi there again :)
i have now tried this at three Walgreens in Surprise and it it's working not matter the order the coupons are scanned. I did notice that the wording on the Walgreens coupons reads $2 off Almay cosmetics and make removers. The manf. Only says cosmetics. It was worth the try though :)
My head is spinning on this deal. I've gotten emails (beyond comments here) saying it worked and one saying it didn't. Maybe the filler thing (see comment below) is the key. I've never experienced that before. I guess it's just a deal that's not meant to be. Thanks for the input. Sorry for sucking up your day, tracking down a bargain that didn't happen. :(
I had the same problem as everyone else when I first tried it. Cashier said the coupon wasn't working. She could get the manu coupon to work by itself, and the store coupon to work by itself, but not together. Then I read somewhere else that you need a small filler (because the coupon is greater than the cost of the items, and it can't be applied towards tax). I went back and added a 50 cent filler, and it worked! Bought two makeup removers at $5.99 and both the Wags coupon and manu coupon worked fine.
Maybe that's it . . . filler needed! I've never experienced that, but that doesn't mean it's not the trick. Usually, I ask them to adjust the price of the item down since they don't think they can reduce the value of the coupon — which their policy says they will do. I haven't gone to Walgreens to try this, but probably will. I may end up with a raincheck, though. We'll see. Thanks for sharing your experience. I'll add another note to the post. It's getting a little out of control, but I want people to have as many facts as they can!
