Fry’s ~ $2 off $40 Digital Coupon

fry's_$2_off_$40

Load this new $2 off a $40 purchase at Fry's.

The savings will be automatic, at the register, if your pre-coupon total hits $40.

If you have other digital coupons loaded, I THINK those come off first and aren't counted toward your $40 minimum.  Anyone know this, for sure?

Is there any way that you can link this coupon to Fry's log in page without going thru FB? I have a FB account, but I really don't like loading coupons thru it.
    Thank you…..

They used to post them on FB, but you ended up somewhere else, so I just gave you that link.  I don't know how to get to this one, any other way.  You don't have to share the coupon or give them approval to access your information, so I'm assuming they don't, but ??  They've been changing the links lately.  :(

Gina has been doing these posts lately.  I'll ask her if I'm missing something and she has a secret way.  I don't think so, but I feel like I'm missing something since I used to do it all the time.  Sorry!

Thanks Juli…..I'm just a little leery of loading coupons to my card from any social media site…..it's really not FB's business to have that info…….!

That's interesting — I would rather load them from FB simply because I don't have to go to the external site and put in my password each time. I just linked my FB account to my Fry's coupon account and it saved me some keystrokes.
I can understand your privacy concerns, though.

I asked Gina and she doesn't know of another way to do it either.  Sorry!

The digital coupons come off when she hits the total button before you hand over the manufacturer coupons. I always look at the screen to see if they come off before I hand over the paper coupons.

That’s why I think you have to be at $40 after the other digital coupons are deducted. That $2 seems to come off after those. I’m almost positive I accidentally “tested” it once. I was buying groceries for my aunt who couldn’t shop and only had a few coupons for her. I wasn’t thinking about hitting $40 since I was just winging it and shopping quickly for her specific items. It hit me later that I had the coupon loaded and should have spent a couple more dollars to save a couple. I think my total was $38.xx and it didn’t come off. If my digital Daytona coupons were counted, I would have been over $40. That was my experience, but if something like that only happens once, I don’t trust it. What it the coupon didn’t load correctly? I’m a double tester, if I want a guarantee. :) Thanks for your input!

In my comment I was assuming that you reached the $40 in the transaction, I should have clarified that. It's been my experience that if you reach the transaction amount and the cashier hits total (especially if you don't hand over your card right away, or it's a cart buster sale) it takes a few seconds to see all the coupons and savings drop off. If I have any concerns I ask them to scroll up so I can see whether they came off, but that's always before I hand over the paper coupons. Hope that helps.

The problem with the digital is that you have to hand your card over to get the $2 off $40 and then (I think) the individual digital coupons come off and then the $2.  I don't think it is often an issue, but I thought I'd warn people in case they were counting exactly and wondered why they were $0.50 short or something.  I would just make sure you're at $40 after any digital coupons are deducted.  I think I'm confusing myself, let alone you.  Sorry!

    Love these

Me too!  It doesn't get much easier than this!  And, if I don't use it . . . no cutting and filing was necessary and no throwing away an expired coupon.  :)
