I was just at Costco and did a price check on their batteries.  I knew the Fry’s deal was better, but didn’t have the numbers.  Here they are . . .

Wow, thank you! I was just wondering which would be cheaper for batteries….Frys or Costco!

  • Amy K says:

The coupon is for 4pk or larger. At Fry’s the C & D are 2pk and the 9V are 1pk. I was so excited yesterday to get some 9V only to find out I can use the coupon for that size pk. I have stocked up on the AA and AAA though!!

    • Juli says:

Yikes! My coupons are still sitting on my printer, from the other day. Thanks for catching that. I just made the C, D, and 9V comparison disappear. :( Thank you!!

  • Bev says:

My Duracell coupons would not scan at my Frys, so they would not take them.

    • Juli says:

:( Oh, no! I hope others aren’t having the problem. I haven’t heard from anyone else yet. If I were you, I’d try it again, if you get back there and they’re still on sale. Good luck and sorry for the hassle! :(

  • Rhonda says:

I saw on the back page of the Office Max ad yesterday that they are offering batteries with MaxPerks Rewards that make them like 1 cent (if you have other things to buy later at Office Max). I don’t know if they accept coupons, but that would make it a really nice deal.

  • Amy K says:

My Duracell coupons have scanned without a problem

    • Juli says:

Good to hear. I still haven’t tried them, but hope to make it to Fry’s today — finally! I was gone for over a week for Thanksgiving. I’ve been back for over a week and still haven’t gone to the grocery store. It’s crazy — never done that. We’re living off “fresh” canned fruit and frozen veggies, very sad. Today has to be the day I make time!! I’ll pick up my batteries when I’m there!!
