The wine deals continues for awhile, though I’m not 100% sure of the ending date. I asked the wine guy at my store today and he said January 7th. You always save 10% when you buy 6 bottles of wine. BV Coastal is on sale for $7.99 thru 12/17. There was a $3/2 BV Coastal coupon in the 12/8 RP Insert to help make the deal better! Justin found $6 hangtags:
“Purchase 2 bottles of Coastal or Sterling wines and a minimum $6.01 turkey, ham, or roast beef to receive $6 instantly. Limit one coupon per visit.” (Thanks, Justin!) It doesn’t specify butcher, so packaged meats should also work. Or, he also found $3/2 Coastal coupons in the back of the “Big Book of Savings” at Albertsons. (Thanks, Justin!) Heather let me know the 12/8 RP coupon says limit 1 per visit (on the top, under the expiration). If you can find the hang tag too, then you could use that with the $3/2. (Thanks, Heather!) And . . . you might be able to find $10/3 Coastal wines hangtag coupons when you spend $10 on meat. They were found at my Albertsons a couple weeks ago and at Racheal’s recently. No guarantees you can find it, but if you can find two of these, you’re have a very nice money maker!! See not above about coupon in the booklet in their store, too. (Thanks, Rachael!) Most of the Coastal wines are $7.99 thru 12/17, so here’s how it will break down:
(Even without coupons, it’s a great deal!) $7.99 x 6 = $47.94
10% off for buying 6 = – $4.79
Use $3/2 BV Coastal 12/8/2013 RP Insert (exp 1/4/2014)
Get $40 off your groceries (any) = Like paying 15¢ for six bottles!! The deal is even better if you can find the $6 off hangtag that Justin found or if you have more than one of the $3/2 RP insert coupons. Heather let me know the insert coupon says limit 1 per visit. Thanks Heather! Just make sure you have $40 worth of groceries! Read below for more details, from last week . . . Here’s how it works . . . Select bottles of wine, at Fry’s, are tagged with a sign that says “Save $40 off your grocery purchase when you by 6.” Don’t confuse those with the tags that look almost the same and say “Save $4.00 when you buy 2.” (Seriously! You laugh, but at quick glance, they look the same! I may or may not have wasted time unloading my cart and putting hanging coupons back on bottles I didn’t end up getting.) If you buy six bottles, you will get an extra 10% off at the register. Prices started at $7.99 There is a coupon for $3/2 in the 12/8/13 Red Plum coupon insert for BV Coastal. Other items are included and some alcohol is too. The alcohol is more expensive, but still a great deal. There is a coupon for that too in the 12/8 RP Insert. You must be buying $40 worth of other groceries that are non-alcoholic items. My $40 came off (on my receipt) before my coupons came off. That means that as long as your grocery total is $40 BEFORE coupons come off (not including alcohol) the $40 will come off and then your coupons can reduce your total even more.
Not all varieties included in the sale seem to be tagged. People have left comments under this post on the Bargain Believer Facebook page, that these varieties are also included: Smirnoff (coupons in 12/8/13 Red Plum insert), Captain Morgans, Crown Royal, and Kettle. Try them at your own risk! I haven’t verified them. This picture show some other varieties. (Thanks, Sintheeuhh!) See the comments on the previous post, if you’re confused. Hopefully, it will clarify a few things. _______________________________________________________
