Have 10 Inches of Hair to Donate? Get a Free Haircut at Midwestern University on Monday, 3/10 from 4-7 PM

This sounds like a fun event.  I’ll just copy the info from their webpage.

On Monday, March 10, 2014, Midwestern University’s Glendale Campus will become the Valley of the Sun’s largest hair salon for the 15th-annual Cuts for Kids program.

  • Professional hairstylists will cut hair free of charge (10 inches or more preferred for hair donors)
  • Donations accepted for haircuts for those with less than 10 inches of hair
  • Hair will be donated to Locks of Love to make wigs for kids with medical hair loss
  • Monetary proceeds will be donated to the local March of Dimes chapter
  • Community booths, games, raffle, music, refreshments, and family fun

I just donated 13 inches of my hair, and I had to pay for my haircut!  Donated hair needs to be not colored.  This is a super way to give something that costs you nothing.  Hopefully, you’ll love your new shorter haircut!  For those with less than 10 inches who want a cut, there is a suggested donation of $10 for men’s and $15 for women’s.  A great deal all around!

(Thanks, Samantha!)
