Are We Going to Charge for Bargain Believer? No! ~ How Can You Support Us?

I’ve been asked if I will charge a fee for the upgrades/app my husband is working on.  No!  Unless there is a reason our income drops, we can afford to keep going the way we are.  Thankfully, my husband works for dinner (when I make it!) and doesn’t expect more.  :)

I pay four people to help with this site:  Gina, Susan, Cherie, Karen.   Let me assure you that none of them are getting rich and they all deserve more for what they do!  When there’s “extra,” I make money.  When there’s not, I don’t.  Thankfully, overall I do.  I have additional ideas for improvements, but they all take time.  Since I don’t have more of that precious commodity, it would mean hiring additional people to help.  I’m always afraid to take that leap since my income goes up and down and I’m not willing to lose money by running this website.  But, up to this point, it’s always worked out.

I’ve also been asked what you can do to thank us or help support the site.  First of all, by asking that or telling us how the site has helped you . . . you’ve brought a smile to my face and probably the other gals.  Thank you!  Beyond that, my basic answer is . . . . use this site and tell others about it, if you find value in it!

Something even more tangible that you can do is bookmark the page on the site:

Whenever you print coupons from there (or any direct link we give), I get paid.  When you type in and go to their site, I don’t.  From time to time, I get paid for other links I give you, but that is one of the main ways I make money and we can continue to make the site free.

Another consistent source of income is from Google ads, as you probably know.  When you see something of interest and click on it (or just come to the site), they pay me a small amount.  It adds up!

So, please use the links we provide!  Many won’t bring me any revenue, but some do.  I try very hard not to post things just because I’ll get paid for them.  In fact, I just had a IM conversation with Susan a couple days ago, hesitating to post something because it made me money.  When I make money, I often give it extra thought — just to make sure that’s not what is motivating me to publish it.  I don’t want this site to become like so many out there . . . selling you one “bargain” after another just to make a buck or two.   I’m very firm on this.

Again, this link is a great one to bookmark and use . . . it has a value to you and to all of us who work behind the scenes.  Thank you!   It’s also on the top menu bar, if that’s easier.

Thank for being here and trusting us to bring you deals we find value in!

~ Juli

P.S.  My husband is slowly working on the upgrades, but there is not a target date.  It just gets a couple hours here and there, as he can find time.  The biggest change (that will probably roll out first) will be for you to be able to move from device to device, being able to work on or pull up your completed lists.  I’m very excited and can’t wait to use it myself!

I haven’t been able to get the bookmarked to work from your site. When I click on any of the coupons that you list and comes up but the specific coupon that I clicked on will not be listed on the site. If I go to directly, then I am able to find the specific coupon that I’m looking for. It is strange but it has happened three times now, so we’ll see if it continues. Just wanted to let you know! :)

I’m confused and am probably confusing you. When I say that I don’t get paid when you go to, it’s not entirely true. The link we give, will take you there. If it’s a direct link (says: “gone it not first coupon shown after clicking link”) . . . it should take you to the page, but one specific coupon will be first and already clipped for you. Does that happen, when you click those links? If it does, I should be getting paid.

But, there are some coupons that don’t have direct links, since they’re not available in all zips. For those, we have to take you to the page (that can be bookmarked — at least, I thought!) that’s on the top menu bar of the website. For those, you can easily change your zip (can’t w/o changing your settings, on You can to search, to find those coupons. I often search by “category” to make it faster.

So, I’m wondering . . when the coupon doesn’t come up, are you using a direct link? Whatever is happening, it sounds weird since I know they are used all the time and am hoping people are getting where I’m sending them! I know they work for me, but ?? Any extra information you have would be great. I want to figure out what’s happening!

Maybe you forget to change the zip code on the top left corner after clicking on the link. Sometimes Juli instructs us to change the zip to 77477.

Juli, thank you for all you do. Every week before I shop I go to your website first. Your’s is very local and I really appreciate it; and no multiple ads that slow down my computer. Thank you.

Glad we aren’t slowing your computer down and we can help you out . . . and that you can get to the computers from your device. There’s such a variety out there and all kinds of weird stuff can happen. :(

I use apple products and I have to go in through the app how can you bennifit from that. Bcuz when I go in through the link it want let me print coupons. I love y’all and and anything I can do to help I am all ab it. But I may not be the only one using apple products that useses your site. I did not knot that you receive something from that or I would have asked this a long time ago. Because it is not just it is a lot of links that you post I push on and it want let me print the coupon.

I didn’t know that. I have an iPhone, but don’t print from it. I thought the links would work on anything that would print. :( I’ll ask the affiliate company if they know. I have a feeling they won’t, but if I have an answer for you, I’ll let you know.

That’s a bummer that it works that way! I appreciate you asking and trying to help, but I’ll just take what I can get and won’t stress about the rest. I started this to help people and I’m glad we can still do that!

      Thank you for the question!

      • Susan says:

When I print from the iPhone or iPad then I have to go thru the app. On my iMac I can use our links.

        • Juli says:

Interesting! I have a feeling that’s just the way things are. :( It’s really hard for me to believe that will continue paying for any coupon prints, so I’ll just be thankful for what I do get revenue from, from now. I sure hope it continues, though!! We’ll see!

When I click on the link that you provide it shows me a message stateing that I cannot print from this device.

Also when using the iPhone and pad with you have to download the app it will not let you go to the website and click what you want to print. After you use the app it works just fine. But you have to go into the app everytime not the web site.

I have to tell you I am truly blessed by your site. I moved from Florida, the land of true BOGO (Publix and Winn-Dixie). I was spending about $100 a month for three people, groceries, paper, pet and house supplies. The first time I went shopping after I moved here, I cried because of the prices and the not-so-good sales. I found your site shortly after that and it has made it better. I still struggle because Fry’s is the only store close to me and I do not find it cost effective to drive all the way across town to get to one of the other stores, but you gals rock in keeping me on top of the sales so I don’t miss anything I need!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!

    • Juli says:

If we end up in FL again, I’ll make sure to drag my family in Publix or Winn-Dixie. :) I’ve always heard that we have a very competitive grocery market and things are cheaper here. I guess there are other pockets of great deals out there, beyond just AZ!

The good news is that it’s Fry’s near you. If I had to choose only one store to shop at, it would probably be Fry’s. Of course, I can be swayed with a good sale anywhere! I am close to most anything, though I feel like Bashas’ & Albertsons are out of the way. The reality is that they are only 4-6 miles away. I’m spoiled.

Welcome to AZ! I’m glad we can help ease the transition!

Thank you so much for this site! I use it 3-4 times a week and have saved hundreds since I started couponing about 6 months ago. It makes a huge difference in the everyday lives of so many people.

  • Monica says:

Appreciate all you guys do!! The link is set up to automatically be my home page when I open a tab in my browser. Thanks for helping me save!! :)

    • Juli says:

That’s dedicated! Thanks so much for doing that. I hope you’re finding some great coupons and we can help point you to some, too! Happy saving!
