Recycle Phones, Printers, etc. and Help a Good Cause on Saturday, 4/26 (at Desert Ridge)

springI have to admit that I had the kids clean out the junk drawer a few weeks ago and I had no idea what to do with an old flip phone.  I knew I shouldn’t throw it away, but who would want such an antique?  So, I moved it to another junk drawer.  I have a knack for turning every drawer without a specific purpose into a junk drawer.  As it turns out StRUT (Students Recycling Used Technology) and Westech Recyclers wants your old electronics!

On Saturday, 4/26 between 8 AM and 1 PM, you can drop off old computers, printers, telephones or any other electronics with a cord.

Drop it off just South of Albertsons near Wolfley’s Neighborhood Grill at Desert Ridge.

You can read more about it here.

Update:  Michelle left this comment on Facebook . . . (Thanks, Michelle!)
“Best Buy accepts electronics year round, just in case you can’t make it! Old CD cases too, which I found out after I gave up and dumped mine :(“
