It’s been known that Saving Star works at Albertsons, but we didn’t really know how since they don’t use loyalty cards.  They said you could get a Upromise keytag, but when Juli and I asked at customer service, they had no clue what we were talking about.  Josh from Saving Star gave us the info!  Yea!  “Contact the stores’ customer support team at 877-932-7948. Please let them know that you use SavingStar and you will need to be issued a “Upromise keytag”. Customer support will ask for your information and you will then be sent a keytag in the mail which you can register in your SavingStar account as the loyalty card number for ACME, Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, or Shaw’s.”

The great wine deal continues for one more week.  ~ There is a $40 off grocery coupon when you buy 6 participating bottles of alcohol the Albertsons monthly coupon book.  This book is often found around the store or ask customer service.  Go here to read a post all about this and how to get 6 bottles of wine for a super deal. Thru 4/29.  (Thanks, Eryn!)

Hi! I’ve never used coupons before at Albertsons, and I was just wondering if they take multiples in the same transaction. I have several of the RP Stouffers coupons, but the way you have it worded it sounds like they won’t take 3 of the RP in a transaction, you need to use one of each available? Thanks for everything you do!

    • Gina says:

Hi Lex. I worded that way because we don’t like assuming people have more than one copy. We try to go off the assumption that most people get one copy of the paper delivered and have one computer. I always get frustrated when I see deals on other blogs and click on it, only to find out I need 6 of one insert coupon. Who has that? I hope that makes sense. With that being said, Albertsons will take more than one of the same insert coupon in a transaction. They don’t have a set limit in their coupon policy, most stores are about 3-5. A manager can always set restrictions, but I think they only do that to people who come in and by 10 or more for example. If you have 3 of those Stouffer’s coupons, you’ll be totally fine! ~ gina

Great! I don’t usually have several of the same, I’ve lucked out on this one! Now that you’ve explained it that makes perfect sense, I am all too often disappointed when I think I’ve found some amazing deal, but find out that you need several inserts or you have to jump through a hundred hoops to save a dollar. Thank you for such a quick response, too!
