CLOSED TONIGHT! Free Admission to Phoenix Children’s Museum ~ First Friday of the Month from 5-9PM

Slade let us know the Phoenix Children’s Museum is CLOSED tonight for a special event, so there isn’t free admission!  Thanks, Slade!  You can read about it here.

I haven’t posted about this for a long time. You can get FREE admission to the Phoenix Children’s Museum the first Friday of each month. That’s this Friday, April 4th, from 5 pm -9 pm. Target sponsors the event. No coupon is needed.

We’ve never been there, but I hear it can be crowded on Fridays. Please leave a comment if you have any additional feedback or advice for anyone.

The Museum is easily accessible from I-10 via the Washington Street and 7th Street exits. We offer free on-site parking. Take the Free Dash Shuttle or take the Metro Light Rail! If riding the Rail, exit at the 3rd Street/Washington station (westbound) or 3rd Street/Jefferson station (eastbound). It is a short walk north on 7th Street to the Museum. Enter through the historic entrance on the west side of the building, adjacent to 7th St.

A comment from BMB:  Super busy on first Friday. Parking is hard unless you are there right on time. Tonight parking will be even worse since half the lot is taken up by a tent for an event tomorrow. (Thanks, BMB!)
