When I was looking through the 6/29 – 7/5 ad, I saw something about a “less coupon online or in store.” The online of it caught my eye, so I moseyed on over to the Paperless Coupon section of my Balance Rewards account and noticed how they updated it.
If you forget to grab an extra monthly savings book for another coupon you would like to use or if they run out, you can now load them onto your card. They also offer the in-ad coupons to be loaded onto your card as well. In the bottom left corner of the coupon, it will tell you if it’s a manufacturer, monthly savings, or weekly in-ad coupon along with the limits and restrictions. If it’s not a manf. coupon, you can use another coupon with it.
When you get to the Paperless Coupon section, look for a drop-down menu on the top menu bar that says “all types.” If you want to find them more quickly, choose which coupons you want to view. If you’re looking for an in-ad coupon, choose “weekly ad coupon.”
There’s no way to be sure the coupons will come off automatically, so it might be best to actually grab the paper coupons to make sure you hand the cashier your savings. If you feel daring (like me!), try it out and see if it works. I haven’t had any disputes so far with the paperless coupons, but you never know what can happen! I personally wouldn’t use too many paperless coupons at one time – just to make sure I can see the coupon come off on the screen. (At the bottom of your receipt where the coupon deductions are, the digitals are called “ECPN”.)
