Free Admission to National Parks on Monday, 1/15

Although, the get in free days have significantly decreased from last year (used to be 10 free days), you can still take advantage of 4 freebie days in 2018.

The National Park Service offers several days where you can get in free throughout the year.

Mark your calendar for these entrance fee–free dates in 2018:

  • January 15: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • April 21: First day of National Park Week
  • September 22: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11: Veterans Day

If you can’t make it on these days, you can always check out one of the 265 national parks that never charge an entrance fee.

If you are military with a military I.D., you will get a free annual pass!

Also, if you have a fourth grader this year, they can get a free annual pass by going here.

You can also get free admission to state parks all weekend.  Details here.
