Dbacks Won ~ Get Food Deals at Taco Bell, Papa John’s and Jack in the Box

taco_bell

It’s been awhile, but . . . the Diamondbacks scored 10 runs last night and hit some other goals.  That means free food today (Sunday, 7/27, Thanks L Marie!)  Details for today and throughout the season are below.

For Arizona residents, participating Taco Bells will give you three free tacos when you purchase a large drink, if the Diamondbacks score at least 6 runs. (A win or loss doesn’t matter — well, for the tacos!) :) The deal is only good the day after the game from 4pm – 6pm. No coupon is necessary. Large drinks were $1.69 at my Taco Bell, last year.

Here’s a link to their schedule. It also lists the scores of past games, so you can see if they scored 6 runs!

Note: You can pay 30¢ more for a limeade of freeze, 30¢ extra for each Dorito tacos, or get all three “Miggy” style (sour cream & tomatoes) for $1.

If three tacos and a drink don’t excite for you, check out their $1 specials between 2pm and 5pm.

“All season long, the day after every Dbacks win you get 50% off your regular menu price online order. They won last night, so you get 50% off your total online order today!”

Order online at Papa John’s and use the code DBACKS50

Remember it’s after EVERY win, all season long! (home or away games)

If you haven’t tried the XL pizza, it’s only $1 more with the code and seems like the pieces are much bigger. We get 1 XL pizza and 1 Cinnapie for 5 people and it comes to under $10 when we use this code. You can also place your order now and set it to be ready later in the day. I always do this, so I don’t forget and then my husband picks it up at 5:00 on the way home from work.

Here’s some other codes in case you need to order another day:

Other codes: OAP2 for 40% off reg. menu items (through 7/31, donation made to Operation American Patriot) (Thanks, Lynn!)

Here are other codes I try, when I want to get 50% off my online orders . . .

ASU50 (after different sports teams win)
DBACKS50 (when in season)
COYOTES (when in season)
CARDINALS (when in season)
SUNDOGS (Prescott area only)

If those fail and you don’t have points saved:
SAVE25 (for 25% off)

A homerun was also scored last night!

If any D-backs player “Jacks” a home run out of the park, fans can go to their local Jack in the Box restaurant the next day to receive a free Jumbo Jack with the purchase of a large drink.

Here’s a link to all the Diamondback promotions in case you want to see everything they offer.

If you are having trouble keeping all the Dbacks bonuses straight. Here they are:

If Dbacks score 6 runs or more (home or away game) get 3 free tacos at Taco Bell with a large drink purchase the day after the game.

Circle K has a Strike Out Meter for the Dbacks. During regular season home games, check their page here for the strike out total of the game. The more strike outs, the better the deal! Get the deal the day after the game.

Papa John’s deal is 50% off regular priced online orders the day after a win (home or away).  Use code DBACKS50

Pogo Changes ~ Don’t Panic — Still Love My Phoenix Area Fun Pass! :)

pogo_disneyland

I just wanted to make sure you are aware (should have received an email if you have a pass) that the Arizona Museum of Natural history will no longer be accepting the Pogo Pass beginning August 1st.   If you get there before then, you’re set!  The great news is that they’re replacing them with another museum, that they haven’t disclosed yet.  If you can get there by the end of July, you get a bonus.  You will also be able to get into the new venue.

Also be aware that the National Comedy Theater has reduced their number of visits from six to three.

I will be doing another giveaway soon.   Stay tuned!   (If you win and purchased the passes in July, you will be refunded.)

Not sure what a Pogo Pass is? . . . . . . .

For every pass you buy in July, you are automatically entered to win 4 tickets to Disneyland.  I would love it to be a Bargain Believer reader!

If these attractions are enticing to you and you have any room in you budget for family fun, this is an amazing deal!  I promise it’s legit.  (I’ve been asked that!)  This is the second year we’re had passes and we’re loving them.

Here’s what you’ll get:

To purchase:  Go to the Pogo Pass website (That link should get you the $39.98 rate.  If not, use the code BARGAIN.)

  • Sunsplash (ONE visit anytime, valid this season)
  • Sea Life Aquarium (TWO visits, anytime)
  • Phoenix Zoo (TWO visits, anytime)
  • Diamondbacks Games (TWO games)
  • Rattlers Games (THREE games, dates will be added throughout season)
  • Arizona Museum of Natural History (TWO visits anytime, but ending in July & a new venue will be added!)
  • ASU Sporting Events (women’s basketball, soccer, wrestling, volleyball, gymnastics, track and field)
  • Enchanted Island (FOUR visits, Fridays & Saturdays, most rides included)
  • Jump Street (TWO visits, Monday & Wednesdays, Chandler or Glendale)
  • Stratum Laser Tag (TWO visits, dates and times listed)
  • Phoenix Rock Gym (TWO visits, gear is $5, if needed)
  • Tempe Paintball (TWELVE visits, one per month, not Saturdays, includes gun rental, air & 100 paintballs!)
  • National Comedy Theatre (THREE visits, Fri. and Sat., with occasional Thurs. Seating is limited. Call to reserve seating.)
  • Skateland & Great Skate (TWO visits per month, skate rental not included, but can bring your own)
  • Brunswick Zone (TWO visits per week, shoe rental not included, excludes Sat. and some other special days)

To purchase:  Go to the Pogo Pass website (That link should get you the $39.98 rate.  If not, use the code BARGAIN.)

** Each person needs one, unless they’re 2 or younger.  Most places won’t charge admission and it’s not worth buying them one.  If you have a three year old, check the venues you will use and see what their policy is for three year olds.

Free Backpacks at AZ McDonalds 2014 (State-Wide) ~ Saturday, July 26th & Paidia Academy (only 16th St. & Baseline)

mcdonalds_backpacks_26

You have two shots at free backpacks on Saturday, July 26th.  The first one is state-wide, at participating McDonald’s locations.

McDonald’s Backpack Saturday: July 26
McDonald’s restaurants across greater Phoenix, Yuma and Northern Arizona will give away 25,000 free backpacks beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, during Backpack Saturday, an event created by local McDonald’s owner/operators to help thousands of Arizona children get ready for school!

The first 100 children (accompanied by parents) who visit their local McDonald’s restaurant will receive a FREE backpack (excludes Wal-Mart and shopping mall McDonald’s locations). Children will also receive a FREE Go-GURT Low-Fat Strawberry Yogurt in celebration of McDonald’s new Happy Meal choice.

The rep assured me about the locations, when I asked . . .  “All McDonald’s restaurants (except shopping mall and Wal-mart locations) in the following counties are participating in McDonald’s Backpack Saturday next Saturday, July 26: Maricopa, La Paz, Mohave, Yavapai, Coconino, Gila, Navajo, Apache, Graham, Pinal and Yuma.”

food_city_backpacks

I saw this on Food City’s Facebook page a few days ago.  I’ll give you a reminder later, but wanted to let you plan, if you want to.

We will be having a Back to School Event on Saturday, July 26 from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon, at Paideia Academy in Phoenix (16th Street and Baseline). During this FREE event, we will have the Phoenix Fire Department offering immunization shots, information of Child Carseat Safety, Smoke Alarm Program and FREE Backpacks!

I don’t know any other details than this.  Hope it’s a good event!

Big Surf Discount Tickets ~ $45 for 4 Tickets! ($11.25 for Additional)

big_surf_45

I got an email from the Big Surf rep saying they’re celebrating their45th  anniversary in a big way.  I’ve never seen them do tickets this low.  I thought the Liviing Social deal for $11.40 was as low as they would go, but it just go 15¢ cheaper.  Well,l if you add in the $1 processing fee, you’re a few cents over.  :)

They are offering four Big Surf admission tickets for just $45.  Additional passes can be purchased for $11.25 each.  You can make the purchase online ($1 service fee) or at Big Surf.  They are good any day/time of the week!

It is a “limited time” promotion.  It’s safest to buy them online, if you aren’t planning on going right away.  Those tickets are good until the end of the 2014 season.

If you plan on going to the window to purchase them,  check this link, before you go, to make sure it’s still the rate you’re expecting, since it can end at any time.
