FREE Chicken-Minis at Chick-fil-A ~ Thursday (10/30/14)

Chick-fil-A locations in AZ are giving away free breakfast on Thursdays in October.  This is the last one, so make sure you get in on the action!

No coupon is needed.  It’s limited to one per person, while supplies last, until 10am.

Here’s what they’re serving:

Thursday, Oct. 2nd – Sausage Biscuit
Thursday, Oct. 9th –  Breakfast Burrito
Thursday, Oct. 16th – Chicken-Minis
Thursday, Oct. 23rd – Chicken Biscuit
Thursday, Oct. 30th – Chicken-Minis

I haven’t verified that all AZ Chick-fil-A locations are participating, but I’ve seen it on several of their local Facebook pages.   It also said “all Phoenix area location”) on their flyer.  I also found it on Tucson’s, El Con location, so it might be everywhere.  If your restaurant isn’t listed below, you can either call or find their Facebook page.  Leave us a comment if your location is also included, but not on the list!

These are the locations that I’ve verified it for, from their Facebook pages:

Arrowhead (Thanks, Emily!)
Awhatukee (Thanks, Sara!)
Crossroads Chandler
El Con (Tucson)
Mesa Riverview
Oracle (Tucson) (Thanks, Avery!)
San Tan
Scottsdale 101
Superstition Springs
Surprise Marketplace
(Thanks, CA!)
University & Mill
(Thanks, Emily!)

Note:  Surprise Marketplace is NOT participating.  (Thanks, Debbie!)
Looks like they are.  Maybe Debbie called someone who didn’t know??
(Thanks, CA!)

Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD (and my personal Disney tips)

Planning a trip to Disney?  Click the image above and order a FREE Disney planning DVD.

It will be mailed to your home, totally free.  You must click the Mickey picture above to order it.

Have you even been to Disney during the holidays?  Wow, everything is decorated so beautifully.  We usually go at Halloweeen, but next time, I want to take the kids at Christmas.

My favorite money saving tips at Disney are:

Bring snacks and lunch!  I pack deli meat and rolls for lunch and tons of snacks.  You can even eat lunch while standing in line for a ride.  Saves you money and time.

All of the dining places that serve fountain soda will give you free cups of ice water.  It was so hot when we went.  Instead of packing 10 bottles of water, we packed two.  Then, we’d just hit up a dining place and get two free ice waters whenever we needed.  The ice is really good to munch on too, even better than when I was in labor!  You can bring in water and juice boxes too.  I always freeze a few juice boxes and use those to keep my deli meat cold.

We always stay at a hotel away from Disney to save on costs.  We usually chose a hotel near the Disney parking lots (we like the Toy Story lot).  Then, we walk from our hotel, right in to the parking lot, get on a shuttle and they take us right to the front of Disney.  Don’t worry, I emailed them about this and they don’t mind one bit.   We went over Fall Break and had a bunk bed suite for $90 a night!

And this has nothing to do with Disney, but about a mile from Disneyland is the best ice cream place EVER!  It’s called Joe’s Italian Ice and trust me, you won’t be sorry.  If Disney closes early, just head over there for a treat.  My kids get dipped cones in tons of really yummy flavors like peanut butter or blue raspberry for just a few dollars.  The ice cream is out of this world and the Italian ice is just amazing.

Finding discounts on Disneyland tickets is near impossible, especially if you plan to go for less than three days.  I waited until Fry’s had their 4X fuel points promo going and I bought all of our tickets.  I also bought a $100 gift card for food and souvenirs.   I ended up with almost 4,000 fuel points!  I used them to get $1 off per gallon of gas when I left.  Then, you can also use it at Shell gas stations along the way, so we used another $1 off in California.  Then, when I came back on empty, I filled up again with another $1 off per gallon.  Plus, I still had $1 for later.  It saved me about $20 a fill up!

If you have something to add, please let us know!

If your kids get to much candy, be sure to check out the program where dentists will buy it from you and sent it to our troops!  I always bag some up, and put it away for Santa to use in two months.  No point in buying more candy for stockings.  But, I have to put it in a suitcase and have my husband put it on the highest shelf, so that I’m not eating some every day.  If I have to get a ladder to get a twix bar, I’ll realize it’s not worth the effort.  Although, I’ve been known to do just that once or twice.

(Thanks for some added deals, Alicia’s Deals!)

It says you have 9 days to get this deal, but sometimes they will disappear before that.

Ebates instructions . . . .

The best way to do it is to start at Ebates.   That way, you will earn an additional 6% rebate (to cash out when you hit $10).  Even better . . . I also think you will earn a $10 Target (or other) gift card, if you are a new customer, placing an order over $25.  (I can’t verify this since I’m an existing customer.  If you verify, please let us  know.)

Then, from Ebates, search “Living Social.”  Click through to the Living Social’s site, from Ebates, and you’ll do everything like you would if you went directly to Living Social.  Search “Sam’s Club” to find the deal.  (Make sure you are in the tab that opens up from Ebates or you may not get credit.)  Hopefully, you’ll see a $10 gift card show up in your account or mailbox soon & you’ll have 6% in your account!

Anyway, I wanted to remind you that Pogo Pass is giving away a prize everyday in October, through their social media.  Today, it’s an iPad Mini, on their Facebook page!  You will need to tag someone who is wanting to buy or sell a house and share on your wall, after liking Turf Realty.

Joe’s Farm Grill FREE Customer Appreciation Day ~ Mark Calendars for Nov. 5th

Joe’s Farm Grill’s Facebook page announced that . . . FREE Customer Appreciation Day is on Wednesday, November 5th!

Everyone who is in line between 10am and 3pm get: (must be there, one per person, no “to go” orders)

**  FREE Cheddar Burger (1/2 for kids, can request w/o cheese)
** FREE Fries
** FREE Can of Soda or Bottled Water

Joe’s Farm Grill
3000 E. Ray Road
Gilbert, AZ  85296

The food is wonderful, but expect a wait.  But, I have to say that the line looks more intimidating than it is.  Since you don’t have a bunch of choices and you don’t have to pay, the line moves very quickly.  I don’t think you’ll wait more than 30 min, probably less.
