Pogo Pass Giving Away iPad Mini Today!

pogo_castles_added

First of all, we love our Pogo Passes.  We’re probably heading to Castles & Coasters this weekend, before our passes expire.  We renewed, but want to use our current pass admissions now so we’ll get another one later.  Just going there would cost us $29.99.  These passes are only $39.98 TOTAL!!  So, for an extra $10 we get a year of fun all over the Phoenix area!

Anyway, I wanted to remind you that Pogo Pass is giving away a prize everyday in October, through their social media.  Today, it’s an iPad Mini, on their Facebook page!  You will need to tag someone who is wanting to buy or sell a house and share on your wall, after liking Turf Realty.

If you don’t know anyone, there is still another week of giveaways, so keep checking back.

Go to Pogo’s website and click on an icon (top right) for the way you want to follow.   There will be giveaways on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google +, and their blog.

You don’t have to buy a Pogo pass to enter, but here are the pass details . . .

Here’s what your annual pass will include:
(All venues are subject to change.  They usually give you a warning, so you can visit quickly, before it’s gone.)

To purchase:  Go to the Pogo Pass website (That link should get you the $39.98 rate.  If not, use the code BARGAIN.)

  • Castles & Coasters (ONE visit anytime, unlimited rides & goofy golf)
  • Sunsplash (ONE visit anytime, confirmed it’s good next season, as long as your passes are still valid!)
  • Phoenix Zoo (TWO visits, anytime)
  • Diamondbacks Games (TWO games, season over now, will back next season)
  • Rattlers Games (THREE games, dates will be added throughout season)
  • i.d.e.a. Museum (TWO visits anytime, except opening weekends – three weekends per year)
  • ASU Sporting Events (women’s basketball, soccer, wrestling, volleyball, gymnastics, track and field)
  • Enchanted Island (FOUR visits, Fridays & Saturdays, most rides included)
  • Jump Street (TWO visits, Monday & Wednesdays, Chandler or Glendale)
  • Stratum Laser Tag (TWO visits, dates and times listed)
  • Phoenix Rock Gym (TWO visits, gear is $5, if needed)
  • Tempe Paintball (TWELVE visits, one per month, not Saturdays, includes gun rental, air & 100 paintballs!)
  • National Comedy Theatre (THREE visits, Fri. and Sat., with occasional Thurs. Seating is limited. Call to reserve seating.)
  • Skateland & Great Skate (TWO visits per month, skate rental not included, but can bring your own)
  • Brunswick Zone (TWO visits per week, shoe rental not included, excludes Sat. and some other special days)

To purchase:  Go to the Pogo Pass website (That link should get you the $39.98 rate.  If not, use the code BARGAIN.)

** Each person needs one, unless they’re 2 or younger.  Most places won’t charge admission and it’s not worth buying them one.  If you have a three year old, check the venues you will use and see what their policy is for three year olds.

Note:  They have the gift option back.  You can buy them now and redeem the code when you or your recipient wants to being 365 days of fun!

Joe’s Farm Grill FREE Customer Appreciation Day ~ Mark Calendars for Nov. 5th

Joe’s Farm Grill’s Facebook page announced that . . . FREE Customer Appreciation Day is on Wednesday, November 5th!

Everyone who is in line between 10am and 3pm get: (must be there, one per person, no “to go” orders)

**  FREE Cheddar Burger (1/2 for kids, can request w/o cheese)
** FREE Fries
** FREE Can of Soda or Bottled Water

Joe’s Farm Grill
3000 E. Ray Road
Gilbert, AZ  85296

The food is wonderful, but expect a wait.  But, I have to say that the line looks more intimidating than it is.  Since you don’t have a bunch of choices and you don’t have to pay, the line moves very quickly.  I don’t think you’ll wait more than 30 min, probably less.

FREE Fall Festival on Friday in Tempe ~ Dinner, Games, Candy, Bouncers, Etc!

grace_festival

We go to Grace Community Church in Tempe, AZ.  (Off Southern, between Rural & McClintock)

There is a really big, fun event this Friday, October 24th from 5:30 – 9:00pm.  It’s our fall festival and carnival.

Everything is free!  I’m not 100% sure what will be there this year, but it will be the same or similar as last year.  Here are some things I remember about last year . .  .

ALL FREE!

  • Dinner (hot dogs or hamburgers)
  • Ice cream
  • Snow cones
  • Bouncers
  • Cotton candy
  • Popcorn
  • Hayride
  • Games (candy as prizes)
  • Petting zoo
  • Climbing wall

You can wear costumes or come without them.  In the past, they’ve asked that costumes are tasteful and not too scary.  There are many little kids who come to have fun.

If you stocked up on candy, during that super sale at Fry’s, they’re still taking candy donations that night.   It’s not necessary to bring any, though.  Just come and enjoy!

Grace Community Church
(Between Rural & McClintock)
1200 E Southern Ave.
Tempe, Arizona 85282

I know there are a lot of churches that have similar events.  If yours is one of them, feel free to leave the details in the comments so people know of other options out there.  Thanks!

FREE Chicken Biscuit at Chick-fil-A ~ Thursday (10/23/14)

chickfila_thurs

Chick-fil-A locations in AZ are giving away free breakfast on Thursdays in October.

No coupon is needed.  It’s limited to one per person, while supplies last, until 10am.

Here’s what they’re serving:

Thursday, Oct. 16th – 3-ct Chicken-Minis
Thursday, Oct. 23rd – Chicken Biscuit
Thursday, Oct. 30th – 3-ct Chicken-Minis

I haven’t verified that all AZ Chick-fil-A locations are participating, but I’ve seen it on several of their local Facebook pages.   It also said “all Phoenix area location”) on their flyer.  I also found it on Tucson’s, El Con location, so it might be everywhere.  If your restaurant isn’t listed below, you can either call or find their Facebook page.  Leave us a comment if your location is also included, but not on the list!

These are the locations that I’ve verified it for, from their Facebook pages:

Arrowhead (Thanks, Emily!)
Avondale
Awhatukee (Thanks, Sara!)
Crossroads Chandler
Goodyear
El Con (Tucson)
Mesa Riverview
Oracle (Tucson) (Thanks, Avery!)
San Tan
Scottsdale 101
Superstition Springs
Surprise Marketplace

University & Mill
(Thanks, Emily!)

Note:  Surprise Marketplace is NOT participating.  (Thanks, Debbie!)
Looks like they are.  Maybe Debbie called someone who didn’t know??
(Thanks, CA!)

Olive Garden ~ Unlimited Soup, Salad and Breadsticks for $5 (thru Friday)

olive_garden

I didn’t get a chance to take advantage of this offer last week.
Luckily, they have the same offer this week!

Head to Olive Garden through Friday, October 24th and pick up this great lunch deal!

Get their classic lunch combo of unlimited breadsticks, famous house salad and homemade soup for only $5!

Offer valid until 4 p.m.

Go here to print your coupon or show it to your server.
The fine print says only one per table.

Update:  Michelle had this experience, so you might want to call ahead, to see how your location will handle it!
My husband went today with his coworkers. Beware, they may limit this to one offer per table. Seriously. Only one person in your party may get to redeem this offer. They called ahead, spoke with a manager, but still had to re-negotiate once they got there! They agreed on separate checks.
(Thanks, Michelle!)

Update 2:  Mary Ann pointed out that last week the coupon said “one per table”.  This week it says “one per person”, so as long as everyone in your party has one, you should be good.  (Thanks, Mary Ann and Ron!)

I just ordered pizza for dinner and set it up to be ready at 5:00 for my hubby to pick up on the way home for week.  Dinner….DONE!  Thank you, Cardinals!

Dunkin Donuts ~ free medium hot or iced coffee the day after a Cards win!  Only good with their app.  Go to DD Perks and you’ll see a free medium hot or iced coffee today.  Since this is only good for AZ people, turn on the location services, so they know where you are.  :)

Sonic ~ half price drinks & slushes the day after a Cards win!  This says Phoenix locations.  Someone left a comment on their Facebook page that they are in Mesa, and Sonic replied that it is good at all Sonic locations.

Papa John’s ~ 50% off all regular priced menu items the day after a Cards win!  Online only.  Use code CARDINALS50

Burger King ~ $1.20 for an original chicken sandwich the day after the cards score over 20 points.  Luckily for us, they did yesterday!  Again, this one says Phoenix area locations.  So, it may not work in Flagstaff or Tucson, but should work anywhere in the valley.
