Staples ~ Duracell Batteries ~ 100% Back in Staples Rewards

I posted this awhile back, but wanted to make sure you remembered to take advantage of it, if the deal is right for you.  The tag at my store said it went through 12/29/12.

This is a great way to get batteries for those Christmas presents that will be sure to need them.

Staples is offering 100% back in Staples Rewards on batteries, for in store purchases only.  There is a limit of two 16-packs ($13.99 each) per customer.  Staples Rewards are like store credit.  You will need to use it on a future Staples purchase.  It is not a rebate, where you get cash back, so be aware of that.  You will need a rewards card and and the credit will be automatic.

Staples Rewards are paid out each month when you reach $10.  If you don't hit $10 by the end of the quarter, they don't roll over.  In this case, you should be set.  (In the past, they've been cheaper at my store, so make sure they aren't $9.99.  If they are, make sure to buy two, to hit the minimum payment.)  Be aware that you are earning a store credit that it will have an expiration date.

**  Don't use previous Staples Rewards that you've earned to make this purchase or that amount will be deducted from your new Staples Rewards.

While you're going, if you have an empty ink or toner cartridge, bring it in.  They will give you $2 in Staples Rewards.  (Limit 10 per month.)

Staples ~ $2 Rewards Credit for any Ink Cartridge or Toner Recycled

Beginning July 1st, Staples will give you $2 back in Staples Rewards for ANY ink or toner cartridge that you recycle in their store.  (Limit 10 per month)  Basically, it is a check they will mail you which used at Staples store credit.  You must be a member of their rewards program, which is simple to do when you are in the store.
