You can get some super toy deals at Kohl’s right now!  (Thanks, Mandy!)

Here are some codes that you can stack together for super savings!
TOYLIST10 gets $1o off $50 in toys (exp. 10/26/14)
TRICK30 = 30% off for Kohl’s charge customers (exp. 10/26/14)
OCT20CC = 20% off for non-Kohl’s charge customers (exp. 11/14/14)
SAVINGS20 = 20% off $100 (exp. 10/26/14)
FREE4MVC= free shipping, no minimum, for Kohl’s customers
(exp. 10/26/14)
OCT50SHIP = free shipping for anyone with total over $50 (10/19 only?)

Another non-toy code:  FALLBT10   = $10 off $30 Men’s Big & Tall purchase (exp. 10/26)

If you find any of these codes don’t work or the dates are different, please let us know.  If you know of others, we’d love to hear about them!

You will also get $10 in Kohl’s cash for every $50 you spend!  (I’m not positive what the ending date is.)

Here’s just one deal you might want to tuck away for Christmas:  (THERE ARE MANY MORE!  THIS IS JUST SOMETHING THAT CAUGHT MY EYE!)

Go here to get right to the Plasma car deal, here for toy dept.  (Read below, to save even more and start with Ebates.)

Use these codes:
TOYLIST10 gets $1o off $50 in toys (exp. 10/26/14)
TRICK30 = 30% off for Kohl’s charge customers (exp. 10/26/14) or OCT20CC = 20% off for non-Kohl’s charge customers (exp. 11/14/14)
FREE4MVC= free shipping, no minimum, for Kohl’s customers
(exp. 10/26/14)
OCT50SHIP = free shipping for anyone with total over $50 (10/19 only?) (will need to get something else to use code on this car)

Before tax, the total will be only $34.99 if you’re a Kohl’s charge customer.  It will be more, if you’re not.  Keep in mind that you’re also very close to getting $10 in Kohl’s cash, if you do this deal.  You might want to spend another $15.01 to get $10!

Save even more . . .

The best way to do it is to start at Ebates.   That way, you will earn an additional 3% rebate (to cash out when you hit $10).  Even better . . . I also think you will earn a $10 Target (or other) gift card, if you are a new customer, placing an order over $25.  (I can’t verify this since I’m an existing customer.  If you verify, please let us  know.  A couple months ago, the promotion was still going.)

Then, from Ebates, search “Kohl’s.”  Click through to the Kohl’s site, from Ebates, and you’ll do everything like you would if you went directly to Kohl.com.  (Make sure you are in the tab that opens up from Ebates or you may not get credit.)  Hopefully, you’ll see a $10 gift card show up in your account or mailbox soon!

If you don’t want to use Ebates, go directly to Kohls.com.

And, don’t forget the new program we told you about recently  . . . .

Are We Going to Charge for Bargain Believer? No! ~ How Can You Support Us?

I’ve been asked if I will charge a fee for the upgrades/app my husband is working on.  No!  Unless there is a reason our income drops, we can afford to keep going the way we are.  Thankfully, my husband works for dinner (when I make it!) and doesn’t expect more.  :)

I pay four people to help with this site:  Gina, Susan, Cherie, Karen.   Let me assure you that none of them are getting rich and they all deserve more for what they do!  When there’s “extra,” I make money.  When there’s not, I don’t.  Thankfully, overall I do.  I have additional ideas for improvements, but they all take time.  Since I don’t have more of that precious commodity, it would mean hiring additional people to help.  I’m always afraid to take that leap since my income goes up and down and I’m not willing to lose money by running this website.  But, up to this point, it’s always worked out.

I’ve also been asked what you can do to thank us or help support the site.  First of all, by asking that or telling us how the site has helped you . . . you’ve brought a smile to my face and probably the other gals.  Thank you!  Beyond that, my basic answer is . . . . use this site and tell others about it, if you find value in it!

Something even more tangible that you can do is bookmark the Coupons.com page on the site:

Whenever you print coupons from there (or any direct link we give), I get paid.  When you type in Coupons.com and go to their site, I don’t.  From time to time, I get paid for other links I give you, but that is one of the main ways I make money and we can continue to make the site free.

Another consistent source of income is from Google ads, as you probably know.  When you see something of interest and click on it (or just come to the site), they pay me a small amount.  It adds up!

So, please use the links we provide!  Many won’t bring me any revenue, but some do.  I try very hard not to post things just because I’ll get paid for them.  In fact, I just had a IM conversation with Susan a couple days ago, hesitating to post something because it made me money.  When I make money, I often give it extra thought — just to make sure that’s not what is motivating me to publish it.  I don’t want this site to become like so many out there . . . selling you one “bargain” after another just to make a buck or two.   I’m very firm on this.

Again, this link is a great one to bookmark and use . . . it has a value to you and to all of us who work behind the scenes.  Thank you!
http://www.bargainbeliever.com/blog/coupons-com-printables/   It’s also on the top menu bar, if that’s easier.

Thank for being here and trusting us to bring you deals we find value in!

~ Juli

P.S.  My husband is slowly working on the upgrades, but there is not a target date.  It just gets a couple hours here and there, as he can find time.  The biggest change (that will probably roll out first) will be for you to be able to move from device to device, being able to work on or pull up your completed lists.  I’m very excited and can’t wait to use it myself!

Xbox One IN STOCK! ~ + Instant Win Game

If you’ve been hunting for an Xbox One that doesn’t have an inflated price, here’s your “baragin” regular priced one .  .  in stock on Amazon for $499.99.

Before yesterday, I would have said this was a rip off, but my son was looking at them yesterday and they were sold out all over.  He was finding them for hundreds more.  It’s his dream Christmas present, but he knows it’s not happening.  He has money saved, so he was kicking himself for not buying one and then taking the profits from selling it to get another one, once they’re restocked.  I haven’t told him yet, but I’m not so sure he’s brave enough to dish out $499.99 or savvy enough to resell it for more.

Anyway, just in case you’re looking for an Xbox One, they’re in stock on Amazon for $499.99.  I’m not sure how long they’ll last.

And, for the more budget conscious (like me!), you can go test your luck and enter the Fry’s daily sweepstakes to see if you can win one.  :)

$7.99 T-shirts (Shipped + FREE Magazine Subscription!)

Tanga has their t-shirts on sale for $7.99 (+ tax) with free shipping.  You also get a free magazine subscription.  If you want three, it’s slightly cheaper and you get a 3 year subscription instead of a one year one.  You don’t need a code unless you’re getting three, see below.

Here are the details from their website:

“Buy one shirt for 7.99 and get a 1yr subscription.  Buy 3 shirts for $22.99 with code CYBERMONDAY and get 3 year magazine subscription.  *Magazines valid for select titles.  Available magazines include Men’s Journal, Glamour, Shape & more.  Limit one magazine per household.  Your code will arrive 30 days after purchase via email.”

Some of their shirts crack me up.

I’ve shared this one before.  I think it’s because we’re almost done with Algebra 1, with my son.  Phew!

This one is probably too rude for me to admit that I like it, but it makes me chuckle . . .

If you have a Minecraft lover . . .

 * Warning:  You may find some of them inappropriate — not graphics, but what they say.

It looks like the countdown time shows the deals ending on Wednesday at 5pm (AZ time).

Bargain Believer Blog Button ~ To Share the Logo/Link ~ THANKS!

I posted this a long time ago, but it’s been long buried.   I’m going to be lazy and just copy the same post below.  :)

Bargain Believer

If you don’t have a blog/website, you may not have any clue what a “blog button” is.  I was with you, a couple years ago, before starting this website.

It’s the image above.  Basically, it’s the little logo “thing” that you can paste onto a website, with the computer code included (also called a widget).

I was recently asked for it and I remembered that I never told you it was now on the website, if you ever want it.  (Go to “about” on the top menu bar and then “blog button.”)

I realize this won’t thrill most of you, but some of you have a personal blog or website and you like to share your favorite online websites with your readers.  If that’s you and you’d be willing to post a link to Bargain Believer — thank you very much!  It’s appreciated more than you know.

Here’s the code if you want to grab it from here:

<div align="center"><a href="http://www.bargainbeliever.com" title="Bargain Believer"><img src="http://www.bargainbeliever.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/bargain_believer_125_white.png" alt="Bargain Believer" style="border:none;" /></a></div>

Thanks to our friend, Gary, who made the logo!  It will appear on the website someday.  It doesn’t “fit” (in computer ways) and the website is waiting for a redesign — someday!  It’s been on the Bargain Believer Facebook page for a long time, but that’s as far as we got.  There’s always plenty on my “to do” list!  :)

Update:  It’s still on that list.  I’m slow!  :)

New to Bargain Believer? ~ Shopping List, Facebook, Twitter, RSS, Email, Etc! :)

First of all, WELCOME!  I’m glad you’re here and hope you find ways to save for your family!  (Actually, I KNOW you will!)  :)  We focus on Arizona, though some deals are national.

If you’re active on Facebook, make sure you’ve “liked” Bargain Believer.  All updates are there right away and you have a better chance of seeing things before they disappear.  Plus, we post extra things over there sometimes, especially deals that are Facebook only deals or ones that we think will disappear very quickly.

I’m not a Twitter user, but the feeds automatically go there, so if you use Twitter, you can also follow there.  (No extras there, but all the updates on the website will be there.)  Note:  We’re having technical difficulties getting the feeds over there — hope to have it fixed soon!

Or, you can get email updates or see posts in your RSS feed.

Also, if you’re new or just never discovered the shopping list function, check it out.  You can make your own shopping lists, from the website.  (Sorry, can’t use it on mobile devices unless you have the newest iPad.  You can copy it and email it to yourself, if you want to pull it up on your mobile.)  You can customize it in many ways.  I use it myself and love it!

I made a video explaining how to use the new shopping list.  Among a few other things, it is sorted by category and so much more!!

Or . . . if you prefer to learn on your own, it shouldn’t be that hard.  Just click a green plus sign, from a shopping list on the website.  It’s fairly intuitive and you won’t have to listen to my ten minutes of babbling.  :)

And, Here’s a link to a previous post I did, that has some general information that you might find helpful.

Please ask any specific questions that you have!  You can ask on Facebook or email me:  juli@bargainbeleiver.com

Glad you’re here!

Facebook Users ~ READ THIS!! ~ Keep Updates Showing in News Feed!

There’s good news for Facebook followers who are frustrated that they can’t see all the updates from your favorite Facebook pages, like Bargain Believer — hopefully!  :)

First of all, like” the Bargain Believer Facebook page!

Then, we have a better option to follow “pages.”  Hooray for that!

** Next, hover over “liked”and choose “Show in News Feed.”

** Don’t stop there!  If you want to see ALL UPDATES, you have to also go to “settings” (still hovering over the “liked” button) and choose “All Updates.”

I checked a couple pages I followed and I already had them to show in my feed, but not “all updates.”  I’m so happy that I don’t have to miss posts on my favorite pages and you don’t have to miss Bargain Believer updates — unless you want to.  I’ll give you a fair warning, if you don’t already know . . . we probably post 5 – 10 things per day.  Don’t say I didn’t warn you when you get sick of us!  :)  You can also choose “most updates” or “only important” if that’s more your style.

Thanks for sharing the Bargain Believer Facebook page with your friends!  So many of you have!!
