Sunday Insert Coupon Preview ~ 2 Coming on 6/19

If you like to peek ahead to see what coupons you should expect on Sunday, I have them listed for you below.  It looks like we should be getting two inserts this Sunday . . . one Red Plum (RP) and one Smart Source (SS).  Remember, coupons are sometimes regional, so there aren’t any guarantees what we’ll get.

Here are some links to printable coupons that you may want to check.  New coupons are added often.

If you don’t get the Sunday coupons and want to plan ahead for coming weeks, you can get the Arizona Republic delivered for $12 a month for Wednesday and Sunday delivery.  This is not an introductory offer, where they raise your rate in a couple months.  Your price will always be $12 (plus tax).

You can also pick up a Sunday paper at many places, for $2.  Unfortunately, sometimes they have fewer coupons than home delivery, but it can be a good way to get extra coupons on good weeks.  Dollar Tree also has Sunday papers ($1), but I hear that many locations run out quickly and they limit how many you can get.  Every once in awhile, a store will get a second shipment in after Sunday, so check your Dollar Tree to see how everything works.

Here’s what we hope to get this Sunday in the AZ Republic:

Free Kettle Chips at Circle K (w/ app) and Free Jumbo Jack w/ Large Drink Purchase at Jack in the Box (Today only)

circle k

The Dbacks can’t seem to pull off a win against the Dodgers, but they did hit a home run and get enough strike outs to get us some nice treats today (Thursday, 6/16).

Circle K has a Strike Out Meter for the Dbacks. During regular season home games, you’ll get a freebie based on the strike outs. The more strike outs, the better the deal!

You need to download their app to your phone to get this deal. Go here to get the app. The deal will automatically get sent to your smartphone “as a deal” in the app. Follow the app instructions on claiming the deal. You’ll just need to show the offer on your phone to the cashier.

Today’s deal is a free bag of Circle K Kettle Chips.  No other purchase is needed.

jack_in_the_box_logo

If any Dbacks player “Jacks” a home run out of the park, fans can go Jack in the Box the next day to receive a free Jumbo Jack with the purchase of a large drink.  The location I called charges $2.39 for a large drink.

If you’re not a Dbacks follower, you can do a quick internet search for “dbacks score” and you’ll see that you can click for highlights or a recap.  They should tell you if there was a home run, in their summary.

Not all restaurants are participating.  Rose says the 7th St. & Indian School location is not.  (Thanks, Rose!)

AZ Walmart Price Matching List ~ 6/15/16 – 6/21/16

Note
Most Walmarts in Arizona are continuing to ad-match — hooray!  The only store we know that has ended ad-matching in Arizona is the one in Mesa, near Stapley/Cooper & Baseline.  If you know of any other locations, please let us know.

Helpful links:
Price matching policy & tips
Online price matching policy
Walmart Savings Catcher program

Notes : (Keep in mind that your store many vary from another store & you can’t count on getting everything on this list.)

  • Your store may no longer match the Hispanic market prices, including Food City.  (It doesn’t seem to be very widespread,
  • at this point.)
  • Your store may only match store locations that they consider close to them.
  • Sometimes, there are price variations from store to store, especially Smart & Final.  See your local ad for exact price. (Smart & Final ad here.)
  • Policy says they will not match store brand prices, but the majority report their store will.
  • Walmart sells some produce individually, not by the pound.  Their policy says they won’t match those items, unless the ad shows the same (lb to lb, or each to each).  Some stores will do it.
  •  Meats are hard to match.  Most stores are strict about same size packaging, cuts, brands, etc.  We include more than you’ll probably be able to find at your store since selection may vary.
  • Milk ad matching policy can vary from store to store.  Most seem to carry Price First brand for $1.99.  If not, that seems to be the brand most stores want you to get when matching.
  • Stores in Arizona are continuing to ad match, despite many stopping in June 2016.  The exception is the one in Mesa, near Stapley/Cooper & Baseline.  If you know of others, please let us know.

Some items below need coupons, many don’t.  Click the green plus signs to make your own personalized shopping list!  (When you do, it will be categorized for easier shopping.)

Safeway ~ $50 Gift Card GIVEAWAY (Facebook Users)

safeway_gift_card

Update:  Congrats to Erin!  She is the winner!  You still have through Tuedsay, 6/21 to get some great deals at Safeway!

Safeway has a bunch of good deals this week!  See the list here.  In celebration, I want to give away a $50 Safeway gift card!

To enter, you need to shop at Safeway this week (6/15 – 6/ 20) and be a Facebook user.

Your entry will be one comment/pic (more info below) below the Facebook post at this link.  Or, you can post it on your personal Facebook page and tag Bargain Believer.  (Type “@Bargain Believer,” and make sure your post setting is public so I can see it vs private, for only your friends — which I won’t be able to see that you’ve entered.)

Share a picture of your favorite deal (on our list or one you find) on the shelf at your Arizona Safeway or of your whole shopping trip, once you get home.  Share details about how much you saved, or what you were excited about getting.

I’m hoping to see some great pics to get everyone motivated to shop there this week!  If this flops (as all new things can, right?) … just be the one person who enters and you won.  If not … guess I’m going to Safeway to spend fifty bucks.  :)  Assuming more than one person enters, I’ll be picking a random winner from all comments/shares and that followed the instructions above.  I’ll do that on Monday (6/20), after noon sometime.

Starting Wednesday, go here for sharing your pic .. unless you prefer to do it on your personal Facebook page, then tag Bargain Believer.  Thanks!

Thanks to Safeway, for providing this gift card to give away!  They didn’t give me any specific requirements, just let me give it away.  I did not receive anything for myself — unless no one enters and I don’t have to choose a winner.  Ha!  Doubt that will happen, but I’ll do another giveaway if it does . . .  promise.  :)
