If you haven’t signed up, you can do it online<\/a> or in the store.\u00a0 Basically, certain products will give you points, which turn into credit you can spend at Walgreens.\u00a0 (See their “fine print<\/a>” for exclusions.)\u00a0 See the chart above for point values.<\/p>\n

Currently, you can still earn Register Rewards<\/a> for some items.\u00a0 That is totally separate from this program and does not affect point redemption or earning points.<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0 You can purchase as many items as you want and the points will multiply.\u00a0 (They do have the right to limit you.)\u00a0 So, if Product A gets you 1,000 points, buying three of Product A will get you 3,000 points.\u00a0 There’s no need for multiple transactions<\/span>.\u00a0 They have changed this.\u00a0 Each deal has a limit of one reward per transaction.\u00a0 You will want to do multiple transactions, if you want to maximize your points.<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0 You will get store credit if you need to return an item you “paid” for with points.<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0 You will not earn points for a product that you normally would, if you are redeeming points or using store credit.\u00a0 (I suggest paying for items that generate points in an separate transaction, if you are earning any other points.)<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0 You cannot redeem partial points from the chart above.\u00a0 I attempted to spend 59\u00a2 after earning 5,000 points.\u00a0 The cashier was not given the option to break it up.\u00a0 I could have used it, but I would have lost the remaining $4.41 value.<\/p>\n

5)\u00a0 You can get a raincheck for the sale price, but you will not earn points when you redeem the raincheck.<\/p>\n

6)\u00a0 Points expire in one year or after your account has been inactive for six months.<\/p>\n
