I live in Yavapaii county, so I couldn’t test it out but it looks like a great idea.<\/del><\/p>\n

We got an e-mail about it from Melissa saying:<\/del>
\n “I got an email from the Maricopa County District libraries this morning saying they are offering FREE online classes through MCC and it’s sister schools just for having a library card!! I was looking at these classes just before I got the email and was amazed that we can access them FOR FREE just because we have a library card. There’s over 300 classes available and you can start as soon as tomorrow or later (Feb, March and April start dates are also available). It’s a 6 week course but so awesome!! Enjoy!”<\/del><\/p>\n

Now, go learn to play the guitar or take better pictures or medical terminology!\u00a0 So cool!<\/del><\/p>\n

\n I never got the codes the first time I requested them.\u00a0 Then I signed in using the link from confirmation email that I got when I created an account and then requested my passcode and the code came up right away.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/em> (Thanks, Carla!)<\/span><\/span><\/del><\/p>\n

Update 2:\u00a0 Amy left a comment saying:\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Thanks so much for the information.\u00a0 I did want to let you know the process of this though.\u00a0 Unfortunately it is not as simple as just living in maricopa County.\u00a0 Living in the county is not enough.\u00a0 :(\u00a0 You have to have a library card with one of the following libraries (taken off the Maricopa County District website).\u00a0 Listed below.\u00a0 I called and spoke to someone with the library who informed me that I would be allowed to get a library card at one of those branches even though I don’t live in that specific city because I live in Maricopa County.<\/del><\/p>\n
