Personally, I like to hear a little bit about the people behind the scenes.\u00a0 I like to affirm that they are real, breathing people.\u00a0 (I promise I am!)\u00a0 I like to discover tidbits about their lives and feel connected, even in small ways.\u00a0 But, then reality hits that I may be a freak and wonder why I’m thinking about posting something personal.\u00a0 I realize this website isn’t about me and you’re here for bargains.\u00a0 I don’t say that in a self-pity sort of way — love having you here for that!!\u00a0 I would have started a personal bio\/diary blog if I thought I was that exciting.\u00a0 Bargains are much more enjoyable than reading about what I do each day, believe me!<\/p>\n
But, here’s a big piece of my life right now and my heart wants to share it.\u00a0 I don’t see it affecting the bargains we bring you very much.\u00a0 I have a great team of helpers and I will still be out there in the real world — stumbling on and looking for bargains.<\/p>\n
All that said . . . We got bad news about my mom’s bile duct cancer yesterday.\u00a0 I wanted to update everyone who has been thinking about or praying for her.\u00a0 Thank you — it’s appreciated very much!<\/p>\n
