I haven’t posted about this for a long time.\u00a0 Honestly, it’s because I have conflicted feelings about it.\u00a0 Some weeks can be great and others not so great.\u00a0 BUT, all in all, it can be an spectacular deal.\u00a0 The best advice I have for you is to check their Facebook page<\/a> each week.\u00a0 They update the page with what varieties of produce they will have available.\u00a0 They may limit some of them and some of them may be close to expiration.\u00a0 On the other hand, you may be able to walk away with more than you know what to do with, of your favorite item, and it may be completely fresh.<\/del><\/p>\n

If you can find a produce buddy and split the cost of the produce, I think that’s the best way to do it.\u00a0 :)\u00a0 Or, you can make many people happy by sharing it.\u00a0 It can be a lot of food!<\/del><\/div>\n

So, what am I talking about? . . .<\/del><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Every Saturday, Market on the Move<\/a> is at various locations around Phoenix and Tucson.\u00a0 (Locations vary slightly from week to week.)\u00a0 You get around 60 pounds of produce for $10.\u00a0 You can bring a laundry basket or boxes or they also provide them.<\/del><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Remember, they let you know what produce they are expecting on their Facebook page<\/a> each week.\u00a0 Right now, they say to expect these (though possibly not everywhere):\u00a0 Sunburst, Roma and grape tomatoes, cucumbers, gray, yellow and Italian squash, eggplant, bell and mini peppers.
