Last week a few people commented that Blue Bunny was $2.88 at their Safeway store, not the $1.99 price we had listed in our match ups. I noticed the same difference at my Safeway. It sometimes happens. They send us an ad for the greater Phoenix area, but there are sometimes price differences based on location. Safeway is not alone in doing this. Food City always says on Facebook that “price and product my vary by location”.\u00a0 Smart & Final always has differences, and I’ve noticed it at Sprouts too on occasion.<\/p>\n
Today, I got the Arizona Republic and Prescott Courier delivered. I open them up and right away I notice the steaks. What?\u00a0 $4.77\/lb for T-bones? I have them on my list for $3.97\/lb. There were at least 10 differences between the ads and mostly on the front page!<\/p>\n
So, we are aware that this happens. Unfortunately, there isn’t much we can do about it.\u00a0 It’s always best to check out your Safeway<\/a> or Albertsons<\/a> ad before you head to the store.
