(See below for Tucson area.)<\/p>\n<p>Students can be any age as long as they have a current ID.<\/p>\n<p>You will need an ID and get the 25% discount, so be sure to bring it with you.<\/p>\n<h2>Goodwill Dollar Tag Day<\/h2>\n<p>Dollar Tag Day has been modified over the past couple years.&nbsp; They choose just one color each week and that&#8217;s the focus.&nbsp; See below for more details.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Does Goodwill have color tag sales?<\/h2>\n<p>When you enter the store, you will see a sign highlighting the color tag that is discounted.&nbsp; If it&#8217;s not there, ask an associate.&nbsp; The color changes each week.&nbsp; Look for items with that color tag to save 50% or pay $2, for that color on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>They aren&#8217;t for a category like &#8220;clothing&#8221; or &#8220;household items.&#8221;&nbsp; It&#8217;s for individual items throughout the entire store.&nbsp; Be on the lookout for some great deals.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.goodwillaz.org\/events\/\">calendar of events<\/a> for Goodwill&#8217;s discount days in Arizona. (Calendar is not for Southern AZ.)<\/p>\n<h2>When does the sale color tag change at Goodwill?<\/h2>\n<p>Each week, items with a specific color tag are on sale at Goodwill.&nbsp; A new color goes 50% off each Friday.&nbsp; It remains 50% off all week until Thursday.&nbsp; On Thursday, that same color is $2.&nbsp; There aren&#8217;t any other markdowns the whole week, just a new color when it hits Friday again.<\/p>\n<h2>Do you pay sales tax on purchases at Goodwill?<\/h2>\n<p>No, you do not pay tax on purchases at Goodwill in Arizona.&nbsp; It&#8217;s considered a non-profit, so no taxes are collected.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully, this won&#8217;t change.&nbsp; I was at a Goodwill in Texas and was surprised I had to pay tax.<\/p>\n<h2>Can you return items to Goodwill?<\/h2>\n<p>Arizona&#8217;s Goodwill locations allow you to make returns within 7 days if you have the receipt and the tags are still attached.&nbsp; You will only receive store credit.<\/p>\n<h2>Can you return something to a different Goodwill location than where you purchased the item?<\/h2>\n<p>As long as you are in the same Goodwill region (Central and Northern Arizona stores), you can return an item to a different location as long as you have the receipt and the tag is attached.&nbsp; You will receive store credit.<\/p>\n<h2>Are Goodwill&#8217;s fitting rooms open?<\/h2>\n<p>The Goodwill locations in Arizona have not opened their fitting rooms since Covid.&nbsp; You cannot try things on in a fitting room, but I&#8217;ve seen plenty of people try things on over their clothing.<\/p>\n<p>Just remember that you only have 7 days to make a return if you decide something doesn&#8217;t fit right.&nbsp; You will need the receipt and to have the tag still attached.&nbsp; You will only get store credit for any returns.<\/p>\n<h2>Does Goodwill sell gift cards?&nbsp; Are they good at all locations?<\/h2>\n<p>Goodwill sells gift cards (not available online).&nbsp; They are only good for stores in the region you purchase them &#8230; like Southern Arizona or Central\/Northern Arizona.&nbsp; There is not a card available that is good at all Goodwill locations in Arizona or nationwide.&nbsp; Each region is different.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">If you&#8217;re at a Southern Arizona Goodwill these are the discounts available:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nMilitary, Fire, Police, EMT\/EMS first responders<br \/>\n20% off on Sundays and Mondays<br \/>\nPresent a badge or ID card to claim your discount.<\/p>\n<p>Seniors<br \/>\n20% off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays<br \/>\nPresent a Goodwill Senior Discount card to the cashier.<\/p>\n<p>Teachers<br \/>\n20% off on Thursdays and Friday.<br \/>\nPresent your Tucson Values Teachers discount card to the cashier.<\/p>\n<p>Students with college ID:<br \/>\n20% off every day, ONLY at the 4th Avenue store and the GoodThreads Boutique on N.
