We got to visit Bearizona with friends a few years ago.  We’re heading there again (with our GetOut Passes) in August.<\/p><\/div>\n

    Bearizona is open year-round, with extended hours in the summer.<\/p>\n

    Besides various bears, you’ll see fox, elk, bison, jaguar, bobcat, deer, beaver, wolf, otter, and more!<\/p>\n

    The price of admission includes the drive-thru portion, the 20-acre walk-thru area, and various shows.<\/p>\n

    For the drive-thru part, you can go at your own pace on the 3-mile road.  You can drive through as many times as you want, but once you leave you can’t return.<\/p>\n

    Bearizona Allows Outside Food<\/h2>\n

    Save money by bringing your own food into Bearizona.  They allow you to bring in a picnic lunch (no alcohol) to enjoy in their picnic area or any grassy area.  They have one request . . .  “We ask that you leave the umbrella tables for those purchasing food or beverages from the Bearizona Grille.”<\/p>\n

    Free Parking at Bearizona<\/h2>\n

    It’s nice that Bearizona doesn’t charge extra for parking.  It’s always free!<\/p>\n

    Bearizona Wildlife Park is located in Williams, Arizona.<\/p>\n

    They’re 25 miles west of Flagstaff and 58 miles south of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

    Discount Days at Bearizona for Military & First Responders<\/h2>\n

    They used to have a Law Enforcement Days when admission was $5 carload during a select weekend.  It was good for all law enforcement officers, border patrol, department of corrections workers, & first responders.  It also included all support staff with proper ID.<\/p>\n

    I’m not sure if that’s still happening.  I haven’t received a reply, but if I find they do, I’ll update and let you know the dates.<\/p>\n
