Juli’s Night Being Spoiled by Fry’s & Phoenix Suns!!
I was spoiled by Fry’s last night!
They invited me to the Phoenix Suns game, with a few other media influencers, to share about their Suns Rewards Program. I’ll post details on that soon. I don’t want them to be lost here, in all my excited babbling. :) For now, go here, to read about the free program.
The night before, my husband decided to let my son go in his place, so he could shuffle my girls everywhere they had to be and to try to accomplish a few things. He loves the Suns and sure missed out, but I’m thankful my son was able to experience it! I bought my husband a hat, as a consolation prize. :)
Fry’s did a very short presentation about the Suns Rewards Program.
Here’s a pic of of my son and me with our goofy glasses. He wore his “Go Suns” hand better than I did. I had it on the wrong hand and didn’t hold it up right. Next time I’ll do better!
Before game
During this time, we found out that we were the lucky recipients of the upgraded seats for the night. They were front row, AWESOME seats.
Seriously …
We were right by the Suns bench.
From my seat, I could have kicked the camera man, if I wanted to.
(I might have been told to leave after that, but I COULD have.)
As we were entering our seating area, I made a comment to the ticket lady, about it being a new, fun experience for us. She asked us if we knew where the restaurant was. Umm, you mean the concession stand? Nope. She pointed to a tunnel that led under the stands and told us there was a huge buffet and private area we has access to. I said, “Aww, I just had nachos.” She said, “Well, you’re having steak now.” I found some room for some steak to fit in with those nachos! :)
Lesson for my son: Talk to people! Seriously!! I’m not sure if the gals who gave me the tickets didn’t know about the extra VIP treatment, I missed hearing that part, or if I am just stupid and should know these things, but … if I hadn’t stopped to talk to her, we would have missed out on this little secret party under the stands.
I wish I snapped more pics, but below is a little glimpse of the area. Also, image fancy buffet-style food with and open bar. I almost wanted to start liking alcohol, just to take advantage of it, but we stuck with our Cokes at the Freestyle machine.
At half-time they pulled out ice cream and some other desserts. You didn’t hear me complaining about the selection!

What a great opportunity! I am surprised they didn’t try to recruit Luke with his height. A nice combinations of lessons and good food.
Ha! Too bad he doesn’t really like basketball. I’m sure Suns’ moms get some sort of VIP treatment — at least sometimes! Maybe I was partying with some players’ moms, under the bleachers. :)

That’s the type of thing that we just don’t choose to spend money on, so it as a true gift! Maybe, after knowing about it, we will someday — so my husband can experience the fun. :)
