San Diego area Padres fans can get free food the day after a game — a Jumbo Jack at Jack in the Box, medium fries at McDonalds, a free taco at Rubios, and your pet can even score a discount at Petco. Details for each are below.
San Diego Padres Free Jumbo Jack Special
During the 2025 Padres season, San Diego area fans get a free Jumbo Jack (reg. $5.99, but can vary by location) the day after the game if the Padres hit a home run. Fans must purchase a large drink to get the offer. The location I called in San Diego charges $3.59 + tax for a large drink. There are more food specials, so keep scrolling.
Home and away games are both eligible for the offer.
It’s always safest to call to make sure your location is participating since there may be some exceptions, and there isn’t a list anywhere.
Rubios Discount Code for Free Taco after San Diego Padres Games
During the 2025 San Diego Padres season, fans get a free taco the day after a game if the Padres steal a base. To get the free taco offer, another purchase is required (excluding alcohol, sides and extras). The deal is not valid with any other offer or discount including lunch, Tuesday, or TGIFF specials.
Use code GOPADRES if you’re ordering online or in your app. If not, mention the offer to your cashier and they will use the same code at the register to give you the discount.
The offer is good at Southern California locations including San Diego County, Orange County, Inland Empire, and Los Angeles. There isn’t a list of participating locations, so it’s best to call or test an online order before going, to be sure your restaurant offers the deal.
