Groupon Discount Tickets for Waste Management Open

This post may contain one or more affiliate links.  We appreciate you using them and supporting this site.  Thank you!

Groupon has different offers.

Make sure you compare the rates to what you can get on wmphoenixopen.com.  Pricing will vary and until you pick what day and type of tickets you want, it’s hard to tell what the best deal is.  Some days seem like they are charging more!?!

I suggest that you quickly pick what you think you want and put it in your cart because they add processing fees.  You may want to look at a estimated total before you spend too much time picking exactly what you want or making your final price comparisons.

You’ll want to read all the fine print on the Groupon deal you choose, to make sure you’re getting what you think you are!

Safeway / Albertsons Offer for $25 off Phoenix Open Ticket

When you buy $25 worth of participating items at Safeway or Albertsons, you can save $25 off your Phoenix Open ticket.  A code will appear on the bottom of your receipt that you can use for your online ticket purchase.

I don’t have a full list of participating items, but from the sign in the store, products like Coke, Dasani, Body Armour, Vitamin Water, Jack Daniels, Blue Moon, and Coors are included.  Look for shelf tags to find other participating products.  (One product that I noticed at my store that wasn’t a drink was Hillshire Farm lunch meat.)

Last year, there were qualifying products that didn’t have a shelf tag, but I hope they all get tagged this year!

Free 2024 Waste Management Tickets from Tempe Marketplace or Desert Ridge

Get two free tickets to the Phoenix Open!  This is perfect if you have some shopping to do.

Make $450 worth of purchases on any one day from January 15 through January 24 (or until supplies last) at Tempe Marketplace or Desert Ridge Marketplace and you’re set for getting two free tickets ($120 value).  Tempe Marketplace doesn’t have an end date on the offer, just “while supplies” last.  Go to the link above to get more info and a phone number to call for each offer.  It’s best to make sure they ahve them before making a special trip and spending money.

It sounds like a lot to spend (and is!), but with places like Target, Albertsons, Harkins, Ross, restaurants, etc, it might not be as hard as you think.  Plus, keep in mind that the $450 could be spent on gift cards if you’re in a hurry or want to make your “real” purchases later.  (Yes, this is up from previous years.  It used to only be $300.  You’re not crazy!)

You can shop any day, combining receipts from different places at one marketplace, but keep in mind that you need to have time during the week Monday – Friday, from 9 am-5 pm to claim your tickets at their management office, sometime after you shop.

Bring all your receipts from purchases on a single day and they’ll stamp them, to indicate you’ve received tickets.  You will get your receipts back, in case you have another need for them later.  Simple!

Locations and further instructions for earning tickets and where to go to redeem your receipts can be found on each of their websites at the links above.

Ford Free Days at Phoenix Open

You can get free general admission on Monday & Tuesday (February 5 & 6) at the Phoenix Open.

Military & First Responders Get Free Phoenix Open Admission

You and a guest can get free admission Wednesday – Sunday (Monday & Tuesday are free for everyone) if you are part of active duty, military reserve, national guard, military retiree, veteran, police, fire, or EMT.

Go here to verify your status.  In the past, there was a $1 fee to verify your status.  You had to bring that along with your Department of Defense issued ID or photo ID for entry.  See the link above to get full details.

Each person is allowed to bring one guest each day.

    1. So sorry that I didn’t see this sooner. It is confirmed for 2024! I saw a sign when I was in the store last week. I added a picture to the post and updated that section.

      1. can you provide the location you went to?

        1. I was at the Safeway in Mesa near Guadalupe & Alma School, but it should be valid at any Safeway or Albertsons, at least in the Valley.

  2. I signed up on line for military tickets and got an e-mail back from GOVx to verify but haven’t received anything from TCP about how to get the tickets.

  3. I have been trying to obtain my free tickets as a veteran. I have spent hours trying to work through the system. IT is not working.

  4. Are these tickets good for any day?

  5. Military tickets still not available 2 weeks from event?

    1. Military gets free money just buy the tickets.
