The Arizona Renaissance Festival is back from January 31 through March 29, 2026.
It will be open Saturdays, Sundays, and Presidents’ Day, from 10 am-6 pm.
It’s a unique outdoor event for you to enjoy during good weather, but it’s open rain or shine. You’ll avoid crowds if you can brave the rain!
There is plenty of shopping, food, and entertainment to keep the whole family having fun. It’s the perfect place to go, to enjoy this great Arizona sunshine … before it soon turns into too much “great Arizona sunshine!”

Get information about a Beyond! membership here. The database is updated weekly (actually, more than that!). Renaissance Festival Regular Admission Prices 2026
AZ Ren Fest admission adult ticket pricing is the same online as at the gate, but you will pay an additional $1.99 processing fee for each ticket if you make your purchase online. The exception is that there’s a $5 off coupon for kids’ tickets that you can use online! (See below.)
Adults = $36 + tax
Kids (5-12) = $24 + tax
Kids (4 and under) = FREE
Seniors = no discount this year, but free drink voucher (see below)
Military = no discount this year
Parking = FREE!

The BOGO tickets to the AZ Renaissance Festival have not happened since 2004, but this is a good deal . . .
This offer is only valid on opening weekend, which is January 31 & February 1. There is also an offer to get $5 off kids’ tickets below (good any day)
To get two adult tickets for $46 + $1.99 processing fee (opening weekend only):

Get $5 off each child’s admission ticket (ages 5-12) to the Arizona Renaissance Festival. Use code BBCH to make each ticket $19. It’s not valid at the gate; must be purchased online.

To get $5 off kids’ admission tickets:

Bashas’ & Food City Discounted Renaissance Festival Tickets
You can stop into a Bashas’ or Food City to purchase your tickets. You’ll save $1 per ticket.
At Bashas’ or Food City, adults will be $35; kids (5-12) will be $23.
If you order tickets online, there is also a $1.99 processing fee per ticket, so you’ll also save that if you make your ticket purchase at Bashas’ or Food City. (At the gate, there won’t be an added fee, so you’re saving $1 off gate pricing.)
BUT … you’re better off getting kids’ tickets online with the $5 off. Even after the $1.99 processing fee, you will save more than getting $1 off at Bashas’ or Food City.

Kids’ Free Days at the Renaissance Festival 2026
If you bring the right item, there are FREE Kids’ days at the Renaissance Festival for 2026.
Monday, February 16 ~ Queen Katherine’s Birthday Surprise
Kids FREE (ages 5-12) when you bring a birthday card for the queen to the festival box office.
February 28 and March 1 ~ Kids Need to Read
Bring two new children’s books to the Kids Need to Read tent outside the front gate and receive a free child admission (ages 5-12).
March 28 and 29 ~ Superstition Community Food Bank
Bring 3 canned food items or non-perishables to the Superstition Community Food Bank’s tent outside the front gate and receive a free child ticket (age 5-12).
Senior & Military Discounts for Ren Fest
They are not offering senior (65+) or military discounts this year. However, if you show your ID at the box office, you will receive a FREE beverage voucher. The voucher is valid for soda, tea, or bottled water up to $3 and is not valid at the coffee shops.
Is there are discount for tickets to the Renaissance Festival for President’s Day weekend?
There is not an extra discount for President’s Day weekend, but the other discounts mentioned above apply.
Group Discount at the AZ Renaissance Festival
Parties of 15 or more can get a $2 discount on Ren Fest tickets if they plan ahead. Tickets will be $34 for adults and $22 for kids. The organizer also gets a free ticket. The bus or tour operator will also get in free with proper ID. If you have 30 or more in your group, you can get a second ticket free. If you need more than that, either ask or place separate orders.
You need to request a promotional code by 5 pm on the Thursday before the weekend you plan to attend, so don’t procrastinate too long.
Keep in mind that using the discount code RC5PHX will save you $5 for kids instead of $2, so you probably want to use that instead … unless you need them to count for getting to 15, I guess.

2 Free Tickets to the Renaissance Festival ~ Tempe Marketplace or Desert Ridge
THIS IS NOT VERIFIED FOR 2026 YET! No information has been released, but they’ve done it several years in a row, so I expect the offer to return this year. I’ll update when I know.
NOT VERIFIED YET — Make $300 worth of purchases on any one day in February at Tempe Marketplace or $200 at The District businesses at Desert Ridge Marketplace and you’re set for getting two free tickets. District brands are from AMC Theatres to Barnes & Noble and Jin Jia. It does not include any exterior brands including Albertsons, Target, etc.
At Tempe Marketplace, it sounds like a lot to spend, but with places like Target, JCPenney’s, and Ross it might not be as hard as you think. Plus, keep in mind that the $300 could be spent on gift cards if you’re in a hurry or want to make your “real” purchases later.
You can shop any one day, combining receipts from different places at one shopping center. When you’re done, for Tempe Marketplace head to the management office is located next to Yogi’s Grill facing the north parking lot, open 8 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday. At Desert Ridge, you will also go to their management office. (I’ll update soon if I get better instructions.)
When you bring all your receipts from purchases on a single day, they’ll stamp them to indicate you’ve received tickets. You will get your receipts back, in case you have another need for them later. Simple!

It’s always free to park at the AZ Ren Fest, so you won’t have that extra expense! Bashas’ & Food City are sponsoring it this year.

Where is the AZ Renaissance Festival?

It is seven miles east of Apache Junction on US Highway 60. Plan extra time to get there since traffic can get backed up on the road leading to the festival from the Mesa area.
What are the dates for the 2026 Arizona Renaissance Festival?
The 2026 AZ Renaissance Festival will run from January 31 – March 29. It will be open Saturdays, Sundays, and Presidents’ Day.

What does an admission ticket to the Renaissance Festival include?
Your AZ Renaissance Festival ticket includes admission to all shows & covers parking.
For an additional cost, you can enjoy rides, games, food & drink, and merchandise vendors.

Do you need to tip at the Renaissance Festival?
Be aware that after each show, performers ask for tips. Tipping is not required, but you may want to have some cash handy to support them for a job well done.
Can you bring food or drink to the Renaissance Festival?
Each person is allowed to bring one 16-24 ounce factory-sealed water bottle into the Renaissance Festival. No other food or beverages are permitted.
Is the Renaissance Festival open when it rains?
The AZ Renaissance Festival is open 10 am – 6 pm rain or shine. If it’s graining, grab an umbrella and enjoy a less busy day when others are scared away or assume they are closed! Refunds will not be given.
Can you leave the Ren Fest and come back in?
If you get your hand stamped on the way out of the Renaissance Festival, you can get back in for free the same day.
Can you bring pets to the AZ Renaissance Festival?
Pets are not allowed on the Renaissance Festival grounds.
What should you wear to the Renaissance Festival?
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes to fit the weather. Keep in mind that all the activities are outdoors, spread over 50 acres.
In general, the Arizona Renaissance Festival will probably be sunny and warm. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, or other sun protection. If it’s a cooler or rainy day you may want to bring a light jacket.
Of course, you can go all out and dress in a costume if you want.
If you don’t have a costume, you can rent one outside the gate. Prop swords and daggers are allowed as long as they are properly sheathed, peace tied by safety personnel at the main gate, and remain sheathed while there.
Shirts and shoes are required, so don’t forget those!
Do you need to pay with cash at the Ren Fest?
You can buy your Renaissance Festival ticket at the gate and pay for most merchandise with a credit card. However, only cash is accepted for food, drink, games, and rides. You will also probably want cash for tipping after shows.
There are eight ATMs on the fairgrounds if you need access to one.
