Digital Rebates

You will not access these rebates through specific store apps/websites.  You need to use the app/website listed and make your purchase at participating stores.  The offers are valid at many stores, but just make sure the deal you want to take advantage of is good at the store you choose.

You have to click on the deal/coupon to activate it, but the savings is not automatic.  You will be accumulating credit and be able to cash out once you hit the program’s minimum.

After your purchase, you will need to follow the directions each program provides.  Often, they require you to scan the barcode and receipt, after your purchase is made.

Below are some of our favorite programs, with a few of the highlights for each.  The programs can change at anytime, so let us know if we need to update something here.

Cash Back for Gas!

 

  •  Download the GetUpside app.  If you use my referral code we both benefit.  (Thanks!)  Use code:  PAEBT for an extra 15¢/gallon off your first gas purchase.  (May be $10 at certain times.  Varies.)
  • Allow location access, if you want a map to show offers nearby
  • Tap on the offer you want to use before your purchase
  • Make the purchase with your credit or debit card, within 4 hours of loading offer
  • Take a picture of your receipt (or check-in when available) within 24 hours
  • See cash back balance in your account in 12-24 hours (been less for me)
  • Redeem for a check, PayPal, or gift cards (anytime, but $1 fee if don’t hit minimum)

Cash Back for Grocery/Drugstore Purchases

  • Register for Checkout 51 here
  • New offers added on Thursdays
  • “Claim offer” to make sure quantities available
  • Must upload receipts by Wednesday
  • Cannot use a coupon in-store for the product

This cash back program is a little different since you don’t select offers ahead of time.  They track their offers for purchases, not specific items.  You need to enter your credit or debit card #’s to get cash back, then it’s automatic.

Cash Back for Online Shopping

These two are a little different than those above.  The programs work for online shopping, earning you a rebate or cash back for later.  The savings are not immediate. (Some of the ones above can also be used for online shopping, but we use them primarily for the grocery rebates.)
