Does Winco take coupons?

WinCo accepts manufacturer insert coupons from the newspaper or printables as long as they’ll scan.  They also have their own digital coupons you can load from their website.  Many are surprised to hear this since they don’t require a store card for sales, but they do have digitals!

The process is very simple and similar to other stores that have digital offers.  Keep reading for how it all works.

No, this video is not of me, if you’re wondering.  I mean, I’m happy about the whole WinCo digital coupon thing, but look at her face.  She’s definitely more excited than I am.  :)

How do you sign up & register for WinCo digital coupons?

First, you will need to create an online account here, that links to a mobile phone number.  You will be asked to verify your account, so use your real phone number.

If you don’t have a mobile phone number, call their customer service department at 1-800-824-1706.  They will be able to help you get set up.

How do you load WinCo’s digital coupons?

Once you’ve set up an account and you’re logged in, it’s so simple!  Just click “Clip Coupon.”  After clicking, it will kind of disappear, but not really!

Check the tab above all the available coupons that says, “My Clipped Coupons.”  They’re all there, so you can verify the expiration date or any other information you need, before grabbing the products in the store.

The last tab shows “My Coupon History.”  It keeps track of what you’ve redeemed and how much you’ve saved.

How do you use/redeem WinCo’s digital coupons?

At the register, before paying for your purchase, select the Digital Coupons button on the payment keypad.  You’ll enter the phone number associated with your account and the discount(s) will come off, if you are purchasing the correct product(s).  If you have any issues, head to customer service and see if they can help you out.

What is WinCo’s digital coupon policy?

Winco follows all standard digital coupon policies.  You must purchase the product(s) specified on or before the listed expiration date.  The discount will only come off once, if the correct item(s) are purchased.  If you buy double the amount, you will still only receive one discount.

Their digital coupons are all manufacturers’ coupons, so you will not be able to use another coupon with them.  You can use them if you receive a rare store offer in the mail or with their weekly text offers since those are store promotions.

What does WinCo stand for?

WinCo stands for Winning Company.  The name was changed in 1999 from Waremart, though they still operate three stores under that name.

Another little fun fact . . .  their name also contains the first letter of every state where they started, beginning in the Pacific Northwest.  (Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California, and Oregon, though they have stores in other states now.)

I decided to share a little bit of trivia with you since I just become enlightened myself!  :)
