I was going to only post this over on our Facebook page, but then I decided that I didn’t want some of you to miss out. Not everyone sees all the posts over there and I didn’t want non-Facebook users to miss out.

I homeschooled, and while I was working with my other kids, my youngest daughter kind of accidentally learned to read… basics, of course, almost 15 years ago!
I began to teach her how to read and realized she already knew all her letter sounds. We moved right to putting the sounds together to form basic words and she had it in one sitting. Easiest teaching job ever!
