Burlington Finds! ~ Add it to Your List of Places to Shop! ~ July Clearance Sale Happening

Burlington is having a July clearance sale!

I went in to check it out.  I came out with a couple clearance items, but also some regular priced items.

My favorite first.  This 2 pk of tongs is $5.99 (full price, not on clearance).  Look at one of them!  They’re like little spatulas, so they will grip more.  I’m excited to try them out!

And, as I was heading to the line, they got me with their extra selection of random things —  another book for my grandson.  Most of his stuff comes from garage sales, but sometimes I can’t resist.  :)

I also got a few boring things, but I’m still happy with them!  They were all on clearance.  Our bathrooms could use new show curtain liners.  $3.99 is a good price for heavy duty ones.

Then, I’m hoping these little wire brushes ($2.29) will come in handy for something in the near future. I have a couple ideas, but will need to make sure they’re save to use on the surfaces I’m thinking of using them on.

If you’re near a Burlington, head over and see if you can find a treasure!

Below is what I found last time. I’m going to keep all the info below in case you’re on the hunt for similar since they probably still have those items.

For whatever reason, I just don’t think of Burlington when I need (or want!) something, but I rediscovered them recently.  Since I’ve overlooked them for so long, I wanted to remind you they’re out there and have some good prices.

If you aren’t familiar with Burlington, think of a cross between TJ Maxx & Ross, but probably closer to Ross with pricing.  (I find TJ Maxx more expensive most of the time.)

They have clothing for the whole family, a beauty section, and a good selection of random household items including decor, unique gadgets, and essentials. They even have some food.  They also have a clearance section in most departments where you can find even better deals.

I was gifted a $25 gift card and got all this! ($25.96 + tax).

Here’s what I paid for items above:
Cutting boards – $3.99 & $5.99
Oil spray bottle – $2.99
King pillows (twin pack) – $12.99

I needed inexpensive king-sized pillows for shams.  Burlington had them cheaper than a sale at Kohl’s or Walmart.  (You know that I searched on my phone while I was standing there!)

I also had some pretty rough looking plastic cutting boards that I’ve been wanting to upgrade to wood, so I did.  And, the little bottle to spray oil seemed to be a good investment since I won’t have to buy cooking spray.

When I went back another time, I got a plastic hamper for $7.99 (same price as Walmart).

Burlington has the same maze-like shopping line as TJ Maxx.  I also picked up a board book for my grandson’s birthday for $2.99.  Don’t skip that area.

I think I’ll remember Burlington for myself, but even more . . . I want to make sure it’s on the top of my list when I need a place to browse for gifts.  They have so many random things, from unique to practical for really good prices.

If you need a little Easter gift to add to a baked good or just something small for someone, these cookie cutters (all except Disney) and the spatula & cookie cutter set were $3.99.  Or, forget the gift and treat yourself.

If you’re in the East Valley, they are in the Walmart shopping center on Baseline & Stapley (across from Chick-fil-A).

Here’s a list of locations in Arizona.  There are many more.

Hope you find some good treasures at Burlington!

I was given a gift card to shop at Burlington, but I was not required to share about my experience.  I want to share good information I discovered with you!
